Actually, Jagdpanzer IV upper glacis 80mm is angled at 50 degrees, so it's actually better than the Panther's upper hull plate at 55 degrees. However Jagdpanzer IV lower hull upper glacis is 50mm at 55 degrees.
@@ingurlund9657 I guess it depends on how they measured it; back from vertical or horizontal. It gets a bit confusing because online resources list discrepancies; I've seen 40, 45, 47 and 50 degrees listed. Anyway, the role is so different from a medium tank, bit hard to draw direct comparisons, no?
Guderians Duck ;-) very front heavy due to its canon and amour. To counter this a bit they had to strengthen a lot in the suspension and we can see this from outside on the 2 first wheels which were made full steel instead of the rest with rubber layer. Not much of them were built.

I love it as well! The Jagdpanzer IV/70 is my favorite turret less tank destroyer of WW2!
