- Guided by metal sit down with Neige of France's Alcest to talk about the new album "Shelters", discussing guest vocalists, release dates, themes, and side projects. The interview took place at Getaway Rock festival in Gävle, Sweden.
Alcest is my shelter.
J'adore comment il exprime le concept du nouveau album. En plus le concept général du groupe. Neige semble être tellement sage et polit. J'ai envie de ce journaliste, pour partager un moment avec Neige pourrait être intéressant même en silence.
Souvenirs d'un Autre Monde had no harsh vocals on either. I'm excited to hear how the new album will sound. I'm sure it will be great :)
I am so excited for the new album; I saw them two days ago and they played some new songs....they were BEAUTIFUL.....like they took their music to a whole new level.....
can't wait to listen to this new album !! i'm sure it will be excellent, because Neige gives his all passion and heart in it !
Can't wait for the album!!!!!
Can't wait.
If you miss Neiges harsh vocals, he's still doing them in a black metal band called Glaciation, they put out an album in 2012
Thank you.
Let's hope for December!
Good interview. Long for January.
An interviewer who can pronounce French. Nice.
They just announced a tour as well. Maybe they'll be coming by your city.
აუ მშია რა თქვენი ახალი ალბომი :/ დროზე ქენით
Whats the name of the last band he mentions where he plays drums and it's a mix of grunge+industrial+shoegaze???
Lantlôs :)
Actually, I think he's talking about a new project called Zero (his live guitarist's moniker; Zero is the singer in the new project). killhimplease.bandcamp.com/ Neige and Lantlôs parted ways back in February.
Promise and the Monster, Slowdive, Lantlôs and Zero are the artists mentioned in this video, but he was referring to Moniker's solo project, Zero.
Thanks for the info guys!
I think the band is just called Zero??
That bummed me out too :/ Audre Temps was a way of easing into clean vocals. Alcest will always be awesome, metal or not.
seraph
no harsh vocals at all?
