타이틀곡 ‘Dejavu’는 뉴이스트 W가 처음 선보이는 라틴 팝 장르의 곡으로, 뉴이스트 W만의 신비로움과 여름에 어울리는 상쾌함을 더했다. 전형성을 벗어나는 구성과 함께 멤버들의 보컬이 주는 독특한 분위기의 멜로디는 듣는 사람의 귀에 계속 맴돌 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 멤버 JR과 백호가 직접 작사, 작곡에 참여해 매번 새로운 시도로 주목받고 있는 뉴이스트 W의 음악적 성장과 함께 한층 넓어진 스펙트럼을 확인할 수 있는 곡이다.
If NU’EST W focused on their own stories in the last album 'W,HERE', in this album, they express four existing stories between previous one and current NU’EST W story. My theory is that after Overcome, the boys are separated in diferent dimensions or just separated, and we can see that in Where You At. Ren, Aron, Baekho and J.R are separated and without their memories, trying to find their way back to Minhyun, who is the closest one to the Queen. Now in Dejavu, Minhyun is the one at the beginning with the wird symbol on the hand, making the others start to remember where they grew up, which would be the castle and the setting of this MV, and the little girl is the Queen child. I totally understand what you mean, Minhyun being the goat is weird af, but I think of it as Minhyun's spirit or as it was send by him to guide them. Also Baekho with the sword is why I think they are trying to remember their life as knights.
