The bucks Tony and MegaLawyerzilla stopped Kenny from making an extra million+$ angle with Punk
Kenny on his Cornette babyface run is something that I once thought to be impossible. Miracles do happen people. It's either that or we are indeed in the multiverse.
Kenny has grown on him.

I have noticed this ever since he painted Don Callis as Dale Gribble.
When Cornette says he wanted MJF vs Kenny, thats praise. He basically said they only guy he unabashedly likes in AEW actually would have had something to work with from Kenny's promo. I myself liked it, he came across real, the line about his hands shaking from withdrawal of being sidelined was really solid.

Why? Because their world champion was only crowned as a fuck you to NXT, who crowned a black world champion after months of expert storytelling. That's the only reason AEW crowned Swerve Strickland, this after TK mocked the credibility of having Jinder Mahal, a low-mid card wrestler suddenly in a world title match.

And yes if it was MJF attacking Kenny and not the bucks, this would be the biggest angle on AEW and second biggest in wrestling right now behind the mystery of the current Bloodline angle.
That was actually a really good promo from Kenny. He's starting to win me over. Once I heard that he tried speaking with Punk after All Out, I realized I may have been wrong about him. He's not a disrespectful clown like the rest of the Elite.

Kenny told the story with the gut injury damn near perfect and then the beatdown completely ruined it.
Had it been just one chair shot to stomach, it would have carry so much weight.
The more the beating, the more it took away from the honesty of the story.

This was the best segment Any Of those guys have ever done on American tv. I went from legit concerned for Kenny’s health to cringing and even more concerned when he took that stomach chair shot. It was refreshing to see them use basic human psychology for once
