- A special bike for special projects. Brandon Semenuk’s demand for performance is tied to a need for adaptability. The different terrain he rides requires tunability in his brakes to get optimum performance wherever he rides. Brandon’s one-of-a-kind Trek Sesh(Half slash, half session) was designed to cover the ground in-between worlds, and with the tune-ability of Maven, they are the perfect brake to put on a bike that is designed to do all things extreme.

We need Trek Freeride Bike, I know the old Session would be gone soon before I can afford it wishing Trek make a Freeridebike while Semenuk is still capable of going crazy on the Bike
Is this not a free ride bike??
@@stv9042 it's custom, not available for the public
As was pretty much every Trek frame he rode in the past 8+ years
This is what years of riding the same setup looks like. Dude knows exactly what he wants.
I really admire the fact that Semenuk has remained so loyal to most of his sponsors over the years and visa versa. Keep up the good work.
I think his sponsors cant let go of him, He is a big fish to let go
He’s still got the ramps, sick!
Trek logo matched the red Mavens perfectly yet you didn’t use them?
You must understand that this is marketing video and you don't want to promote item with limited availability.
Mavens are still Mavens. It was a missed opp. @@MrScart35
Unfortunately UPS decided that they wanted to hang onto Brandon's Expert Kit Maven's for an extra couple days before dropping them off... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So good!!!
The frame in special “Maven’s” design and you don't put those special red Maven brake calipers?😵💫realy🤯🤣
hhaha
Nice. Short cage 👍
Prefect
The Goat!
ilove it gerage ❤
💪
What size frame? Reach looks small
I got the al Slash Gen 5 but my seattube gusset looks way smaller than here.
Curious about the setup though.
Would love to know if that’s the normal Trek Slash frame… I’m thinking of mulleting my Slash too
Mira el anclaje inferior del amortiguador. No es una Slash Gen 5.
Y tampoco lleve soporte knock block en la pipa de dirección
Trek still uses PressFit bottom brackets?
So I guess I'm not the only one who's OCD about brake lever position 😂😂😂
🙏😈🔥🔥🔥
Is this something we can expect soon? Seems kinda weird that Trek does not have a freeride bike. Feels like there is a gap to fill between the full on racing session and the slash kinda like a Commencal FRS, Canyon Torque etc.
what size frame?
L
what transmision use in this bike?
Someone please tell me the Ziptie cutter he used
No shortage of stopping power on this rig 🦾
Look slick! 😍
Is it painted or is it just bare metal with a clear?
What year is that Session frame?
Bikeporn 😊
The hope of Trek releasing a freeride bike will never die am I right? (I would buy a trek freeride bike as soon as it will be available but for now I dont know if Trek has this kind of bike in the lineup...)
If you have a specific bike in mind, why don't you just go find it and buy it? And not worry about what word is on the downtube?
@@SnootchieBootchies27 The problem that I want a bike with 27,5 wheels, 180mm front travel and same type of linkage that trek session and slash has. Do you know such a bike?
@@filipszypuka6355Airdrop slacker
@@MrMaxx._. Oh... Thanks bro😉
@@filipszypuka6355 i'm pretty sure Transition has a horst link 27.5 bike with 170mm. Maybe?
What did the frame config turn out to be? Like was it session front slash rear?
I think it’s full slash, it has the downtube storage box and no high pivot
@@MrMaxx._.The session Park has no high pivot, so I am thinking (and just speculation) Its a slash gen 5 front triangle, and a rear linkage from a session park and if you seein the desc it says (Half session, half slash)
why not build it up with transmission?
Love how he didnt torque the brake lines with any sort of precision. Offset crows foot is nono, must be inline with the wrench.
I wanted to buy the rockshox top cap shown in the video, but I couldn't find it anywhere, is it still available somewhere? Thanks!
Its a old Product you cant buy it anymore but you can make one
I got one for sale
It’s called the rockshox turncoat, it’s an old product and I can’t find one anywhere :(
That should be so luxury to build a bike for a new brake😂
No T-type custom short cage rear d? vintage bike
Why no van halen calipers? Would have been so perfect with the paint
Unfortunately UPS decided that they wanted to hang onto Brandon's Expert Kit Maven's for an extra couple days before dropping them off... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
62 psi??
Seems super soft aye? He mostly rides jumps so I would of thought it would easily be over 100 lol I run around 120-150 if I’m doing free ride and like 250 on the rear
7 speed axs
I just learned today Semenuk does Rally Car racing.
why raw color 😭😭😭
Because it's friggin dope and probably what he wanted 🤷🏼♂️
Why in the heck you Sram/ RockShox exhausting put the torque specs and even you, don't respect them? 🙄
Professional mechanics have built in integrated torque wrenches
Is that bike actually mullet…. I call BS.
Look at the space between the rear tyres and the seat stay bridge, I'd say it looks like it could very well be a 27.5/26 mullet.. what makes you "call bs"?
SRAM brakes 😂… been riding too long to stop trying to understand who uses them… there is soooooo much better out there. All the other brands basically
Love my SRAM brakes. All the complaints people typically say I actually enjoy.
They come stock on a lot of bikes, that’s where the vast majority of users come from
He built that with a multitool.. ok 😅
brandon im a poor kid from a poverty stricken area can i please have one of your old treks? 50 likes and he has to give me one, come on guys.
Nope
Nope
While the rest of us Plebs are on our sub $2K bikes.
