--------
In this clip, Vlad and Boosie discuss the impact of being born into fame, drawing comparisons to the experiences of King Harris, son of rapper T.I. Vlad describes his struggles as the child of immigrant parents and achieving success as a DJ, emphasizing the benefits of having a famous parent to guide a child's professional journey. He celebrates the success of Ice Cube's and Denzel Washington's sons in acting, urging the children of famous artists to harness their inheritance to succeed, without embracing the harsh realities their parents may have rapped or acted about. Boosie echoes this sentiment but points out the difficulty for a rapper's child to gain authenticity and respect if they haven't lived the life their lyrics suggest. He also emphasizes the dangers of aspiring to a violent lifestyle, imploring his own kids and others to follow their parents' footsteps in music or acting, but not in their potentially damaging lifestyles.

the crazy part is how Boosie and T.I. son could be looked at as tryna be LIKE their fathers who glorify the streets. I don't hear enough accountability for the parents here.
Blaming their kids for tryna be what their parents have influenced hundreds of thousands of children to do!
It depends how you look at it. One could say the Boosie and T.I. were rappers who rapped about their experiences and were successful enough to escape that lifestyle. The issue is that their kids didn't live that life. And I don't think either of them would be supportive of anyone pretending to be from the hood and rapping like they're really from the mud.
@@JELIFISH19 I don't agree. That would imply that they only rapped in past tense when referring to their experiences and that wasn't the case. They rapped about doing immoral things in a present and future tense. I don't care to soften the reality of what they did to make it look like they had good intentions. What they ought to do is denounce all the evil things they said and make that clear.
One thing I'm sure they're supportive of is people listening and being glad to hear their evil lyrics that influences people to do those wrong things. How you gon tell people not to do wrong but encourage them to listen to the music that promotes doing the wrong?? That's hypocrisy!!

Facts I'm from Chicago and you don't won't your kids doing the shit you did .
People always think having rich and successful parents are a blessing...its actually a curse in disguise....think about living under the shadow of your parents, and everyone saying you are useless but only live well because of your parents. Its a hidden blessing to come from meager means...whatever you build YOURSELF, you with feel gratitude for the blood/sweat/tears you put into achieving that on your own. Gratitude and self worth is worth more than all the money in the world that is handed down to you.
start a business with they money n become a billionaire nothing wrong with that or be a duck n try to act broke n be ungrateful
It only bothers u if ur insecure … Who would rather be born poor then rich? Said no one ever .. Its ur mentality and how u approach shit at the end of the day
It also goes back to the parents. You don't see Ice Cubes kids or Lil Waynes kids or Snoop Doggs kids acting like TI's & Boosies... Maybe they didn't train them up good enough to know how to be regular rich kids. TI done had that boy on reality TV since he was a baby and I can only imagine the foolishness Boosie done put in Tooties head.
Being successful is using whatever resources you have to get there, wanting to go back to where your dad came from is just thinking backwards

I think Boosie deflected that one. Ice cube was a gangster rapper, from a gang area. He wasn't super hard, but he did have scuffles, and beef in Lynch mob. He turned it around and did acting later.

Kids today are looking for an identity. Normally, you do that between the ages of 11 and 14, but some kids are late bloomers. If you're an adult and still trying to find an identity, that's a personal problem that should be looked at.
No way you believe identity issues stop at 14. Especially when there is so much life to live and experience. Your body and brain is still developing. Identities are developed not found.
@blessedbetit665 children are usually exploring their identity between the ages of 11 and 14 its in the literature. As they grow, yes, they will change. But if you are an adult struggling with an identity crisis, that is a personal problem that actually is in the DSM V
@@Ms.Federally.Official-Matthews I see your point. Now I understand where our opinions disconnect.
You gotta think about all the people that graduate hs and wanna start thuggin 😂😂it’s not just 14 years olds. You gotta bunch of 18 year olds tryna be street but never were that in school.
@@blessedbetit665 Personal adjustments and life lessons continue to develop until you die; that's not the same as identity per se.
Identity is rooted in what you believe you represent to yourself and how you desire (or in some cases, how you feel you've been forced) to be viewed by others in the world based on principles that were conveyed to you in early childhood.
It's all about the lineage you either designate to yourself physically based on your bloodline/physical semblance or figuratively based on beliefs you culturally feel close to in your personality and behavioral tendencies.
Behavioral and emotional traits become very well established pretty much permanently by age 14 to 15, regardless of how much life experience you have or will receive up until that point and beyond. Those personality traits will pretty much stay consistent for the rest of your life, and that's the foundation of your identity.
So yeah, that was a correct age. Usually, by age 16, a kid pretty much accepts their personality as being a part of who they are because, at that point, they come to realize that the cognition of the brain is just wired like that, and there's nothing they can really do about it.
This is just what I've observed across most cultures and various groups of people.
Our culture is not like other cultures that have powerful organize crime. The Family name and power alone won't get you nowhere in black culture especially in the streets. Unless you are a singer. If Boosie lived a squarer life, his kid wouldn't want to be out here in the streets. I can imagine Boosie and TI always reminding their sons, they ain't like that; in turn, all it does is make them want to prove them wrong. They should try to give them more outside options than rap and try to make their situation look cool.
