I am really glad they paid homage to the original. Also pretty cool how they went for lightweight instead of just pumping HP from engine, more economical and efficient. And relatively affordable for its class. But of course not talking about rgt version, that surely is not cheap.
Probably not the best sounding car in rally history but, however, I'm glad to see an A110 race again.

I hope they made this/the GT4 into a real production car, like an Alpine A110R, with all the crazy aero and enhanced power.

RGT COULD be a really interesting class. Too bad there aren't more cars and entries to be found. And too bad it seems to get ZERO coverage.
A really nice and beautiful car.
AND: One of the few rally cars of current production that stand out from the boring crowd. A glimpse of hope, indeed.
Cars like the Alpine RGT or the Abarth 124 should be more supported and promoted, relating to the rally sport. As a first step to get more from the former spirit to the rallies again.
By the way: It is delightful that Francois Delecour is still active in rallying

I truly think that consequently it cannot be wrong when there is a great variety of cars which can be watched by the rally spectators. At the moment there is nearly NO variety, especially when you watch a rally of the World Championship.
This should be changed, due to my feeling.
the driver has got some fucking incredible control over that thing, that car looks so difficult to drive

I think it’s the anti lag system
@@Charlie-Charlot i though anti lag is used only when the driver is off the gas
It's just excess gas in the exhaust igniting because of the anti-lag system, I'm pretty sure.
