She just walked into the store, and with no vocal warm up, not even a cup of hot tea, nailed that demanding aria. He sight-read a non-trivial piano score on demand. This is insane. In a good way.
To be fair she was very flat on the highest note. Given she knows the aria she can probably hit it though with proper warmups
@@Elonpocalyps420 most of all she staggered a lot on that high f and she hadn't agility. It's totally understandable with no warmup on this aria
Its fake! They must have set it up together.
It takes years to become an opera singer. Years. Exhausting years.
She'll get there. It just takes time.
She did great overall! Her tone is beautiful. She was built for this. Continual training, hours upon hours a day of practice😅 (it is very hard going. Never underestimate the work of opera singers, just to keep their voices in tip top shape.
If this was the morning, then it's always a bit challenging when you've woken up and have to sing.
I have to practice two hours before any morning performance just to get my voice to wake up 😂 - honestly, I could have never sounded as good as her.
Mmm… no he sets these up. They’re still beautiful but they’re not impromptu
OMG,she didn't need to warm up before singing this song? First , supermarket version Queen of night ever. Bravo.
She likely sang earlier in the day
Maybe it was just staged to shoot the video but I don't care. You are both great. I love Mozart, and that aria. Thank you very much. ❤❤
The late, great, Birgit Nilsson, used to sing ‘Der Hölle Rache’ as a warm-up, yes a warm-up, before singing Isolde in Tristan und Isolde.
Your sightreading is as impressive as her singing. Well done, both of you!
She doesn't "miss" it, she constantly is singing a wrong one. She doesn't have the right one in her voice because the wrong way she is trying to fit it
To me the sight reading is more impressive. He didn’t know the piece, she did, and he was trying to read the music on a phone screen?!?! And “flip” the pages?!?!
@@melettachannel2587What do you mean by "the wrong one"? What is she singing wrong?
@ivanpetrov2593 The highest note in the passaggio from 1.11 to 1.17 is "F". It is not slightly flat, but constantly half of a tone down. So even if her intention is to sing "F" the lack of the technic doesn't permit her to do it.
@@regulus2033 1:31 is very obvious
He … SIGHTREAD that score? 🤯
Not to mention her just walking off the street and singing the song!
Bravo!
Yeah, I donno. I'm skeptical.
@@Sika6061 After looking at more of his stuff, hes either consistently lying, or just really that good. I personally think he's genuine.
Mozart is not difficult to sight read...
Fellow music conservatory students running a CZcams channel to pay their way through school. Totally rehearsed.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ugh, sight reading is so panic inducing. Especially in front of a crowd. I can't imagine the difficulty of sight reading for a piano.
Oh yeah, he definitely sight read it. There's no way that's someone he knows. The fact that every video he posts has an obviously professional musician just show up "randomly" in a shopping mall or that when he asks her for the score it takes her a second and a half to bring it up on her phone is not suspicious at all right? Doesn't your phone have a button you press that telepathically brings up the sheet music for the piece you are thinking about for the instrument you happen to be standing next to?
As if im the singer i would prolly prepare for the score just in case
@@ringosis finally someone with common sense. its so ridiculous so many people believe everything they see on the internet.
BRAVO 👌
I can’t even comprehend sight-reading…you have to have a third arm/hand to turn the page once you have reached the end of page 1 or page 2 (if it is an opened book)! I play by ear only. It’s much more relaxing when music is inside your memory or in your heart instead of on a page in front of you!
You look so tense, and i don't even play any musical instruments not even a piano, but i know it's damn hard. Great work both of u😂😂
It’s because I am reading notes from the phone and it’s very small 😂
and she's NOT warmed up....
She wear warm clothes..maybe tht will do heheh
That’s sightreading for you.
What a wonderful way to help opera singers gain more international recognition.
Opera is not nearly as appreciated here in the United States as it should be.
It looks like your piano there is the place to be.
She stuffed up some high notes but it's an increadibly difficult piece and without a warm-up it's really impressive. She warms up at the end and sings flawlessly. What a joy to listen it live!
Exactly my reasoning. Well said! 😊🙏🏼🎶🎶🎶💙💥
Yeah, the two (very) high Ds were maybe a quarter tone flat, but hey, *I* couldn’t do even that well, so kudos for her.
Oh come on!
Bloody difficult aria , so 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉🎉
Yeah but you just HAD to be shittty about it.
*Who IS this woman? She MUST be a professional opera singer. She nailed this extremely difficult aria.*
She is obviously studying or has studied professionally but she didn't nail it, unfortunately.
Beautiful voice. Definitely studied. I am impressed.
She couldn't hit the squeak note. I hate that my voice changed to bass
@@akherousia You are so much better
@@akherousiayou obviously don’t sing. She was flat many times but for that aria, at such short notice? Please have some respect
You see she wanted to do this for a long time from how excited she was when he agreed to do it
they were practicing for months
@@albinvega7008 yeah but actually🤓☝
That's a wild impromptu duet! Sight reading skills are top notch!
Given she didn't warm up THAT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!
Die Zauberflote. Queen of the night aria. She was very brave to sing that impromptu and without warming up first. She has a lovely voice. A difficult piece for the musicians. Well done both of you.
Fantastic! This is one of the most difficult opera arias to sing! Well done both of you! It couldn't be easy for you to play either!😁👍👏👏👏👏
I know this by heart, as I've seen and listend to the magic flute very often. She almost nailed the highest tone. I think she missed it a little bit. But under this setting, both performances where excellent.
Yes agreed 1000% re highest note in first and subsequent like sequences BUT given all factors, excellent!!!🌹🎼🌹🎼🎼🌹🎼🌹🎼🌹🎼🌹🎼❤️🎼❤️🎼
the staccatos in that piece have always amazed me, no matter who sings it
The pressure and joy that comes from two professionals is hypnotizing.
Beautiful!!! And I am most positive she did warm up her voice before she left home. My Mother was an Opera singer.
I tend to disagree, she has a great voice and would have gotten the f much better if properly warmed up. You can sing quite well from the cold (do you say it like this in English?) if you are well trained. Also you can hear how the last high note (the last „hört“) is much better than the beginning, she warmed up while singing. Source: I’m an opera singer 😅
Absolutely Brilliant! She could not have found a better Accompanist!
Thank you for bringing so much Joy into the World! 💖💖
Queen of the night is one of my favourite aria's. A magnificent rendition! Well done to both of you
I just got the chills! Music is the international language is it not? I love this piece, thank you for playing, and thanks to her for singing it so well. I'd listen to the two of you anytime.
Lovely opera vibes👏🏼❣
i love hearing her warm up and hit the high notes on the last pass. wonder who she was!!
She sang amazingly, but more amazing was his ability to accompany her perfectly without missing a beat.
Damn, what a musical shopping mall!
That was insane. She is so good but you also. Reading two stave and playing with perfect rythms, are really hard. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so impressed with your playing! That you can site read from a cell phone?!? Holy cow! ❤❤
this is the coolest soprano piece in the world!
wonderful sight read playing!! bravo!!
That high note is hard to hit, she missed it, but she did great however.
She got them on the final passage, you can see she opened her mouth a little more and added more support between her diaphragm and down to around her lower abdominal and intercostal muscles. Her placement of the high notes resonated in her upper mask above her soft palate. The position of her feet was also well grounded with her right foot angled in front of her left to further anchor her breath management support. A wonderful presentation of the full body being used as a vocal instrument.
@@chris-zu6sf You're right. She got it at 2:25. I didn't watch the whole thing when I first commented.
She warmed up towards the end of the piece.
@@David-R. The note at 2:25 is a D, and the highest note is an F. So she nailed the lower D but didn't quite reach the F. Her voice is very good though
@@chris-zu6sf the notes in the final passage are lower than in the first passage. (D versus F)
Wow!! I don't care much for opera, but that was amazing. It was like they had practiced together for some time!!
Thank you for donating your time to share your talent and entertain the public for free. Would love to see you perform at Carnegie Hall. ❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏
That high note is such a hard note to sing! Not many can do it. I wouldn’t have chosen that one in such a public place. Amazing on both parts. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Same here, I thought she was leaping off a cliff with that aria, well she did and landed on the other side brilliantly. Excellent performance in such harrowing conditions too and with such a honky distorted piano!
Nobody just chooses Queen of the Night aria on a whim! She chose it precisely *because* it is (arguably) the most difficult coloratura aria ever written. And what a voice! bet if she'd had a proper warm-up beforehand, she would have nailed every note. As it is, she was slightly flat on just three notes that I noticed.
I am just thankful that you chose to share this deeply moving experience with us. A fan in Texas
He is so talented I watch him play all type of music for and with other people
Incredible. Absolutely gifted piano playing and singing. Bravo. Thank you for sharing. Subscribed.
Oh my god just blew my mind. Absolutely fantastic!
I wish my trips to the market were as eventful as this. Amazing singing and sight reading.
Wow, great job cueing the soprano when she got lost. It was all practically seamless.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@iwonaglaser5983???
Not just any soprano but a coloratura soprano. What an honor to have been able to listen to her sing live for free.
Superbe chanteuse, Aurelie Ligerot !
WOW. She nailed every single high note - I'm completely awed!!
Are you deaf? XD she didn't reach a single one of the high Fs which are the core of this aria.
not really, but she try it. Der Hölle Rache is one of the most difficult parts for a Sopran. Next thing a opera song is not just a song, its part of a roll from opera. Its like a modern musical . You must feel the Queen of the night and for the part of the queen you need a wide range in the high notes. For me the best performer was Edda Moser.
Thats so impressive..you and the singer. You both did great. I love it❤❤❤
Superb....made my day. ❤ from Ireland 🇮🇪
That was amazing!!!
Brilliant performances by both!
WOW!
One of my favorite arias by Mozart. The best version I’ve ever heard is by Cristina Deutekom. Her coloraturas are unsurpassed 👏🏻🤩
That's her? Wow! Not to mention she was so excited.
Cómo se llama la obra???
@@JuanFranciscoN Queen of the Night or Die Zauberflöte
I don't like Deutekom's yodels on this aria
Bravo pour les deux!❤
Music is born in the small moments of people uniting. Many of my unforgettable musical memories are from spontaneous singing and playing. You can only experience them once and then harbor them in your heart. Owning and listening to a CD, a record or a music stream is nothing compared to these moments. What a lovely soprano voice and impressive piano playing regarding circumstances.
Her smile says it ALL! God bless.
I’m watching this while sitting in a hot tub and it STILL gave me chills!
Bravo, what a voice!! And you, young man, beautifully played. Thank you. I hope you have a cámara, can you imagine telling people that you payed the piano for a famous opera singer? Then show the film. WOW.
Queen of the Night, from Mozart's "The Magic Flute", I usually don't like Opera, but this passage is beyond beautiful 😊
Der Rache von Holle kocht in meinem Herz - the rage of Hell burns in my heart !
Fantastic. I hope everyone who got to see that live realizes what a blessing it was. Bravo to both of you.
Really enjoyed this! Love your talents!
Bravo! Great pianist and great singer!
It's like a present for my soul. Just amazing and very emotional. In tears here.
This is one of my favourite operas and they both nailed it. While he was playing the piano, She sang it beautifully.
Wow!!! Such talented people!! I'm in awe of you all.
Thankyou for bringing this for us all to enjoy.
Music definitely brings people together & makes us feel connected!
wonderful!!!!! real music!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely phantastic. Both the piano player and the singer just delievered. Gorgeous.
i’ve been crying watching every video of yours so beautiful please never STOP you are blessed.
Queen of the night is truly an amazing piece
Mozart's Queen of the Night aria from the Magic Flute is one of my favorite arias.
Nothing short of amazing!
I think everyone in this world recognises this melody from the magic flute
Extraordinaire 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 ça fait tellement du bonheur !!😍😍😍😍😍 grand merci à tous les deux 👍✅☀️💝
I love this aria! -- I would have been a happy shopper that day!❤
And she is truly Queen of the Night. Bravo, your majesty.
Bravo!! Bravissimo!! Another shot of beauty to chase away the drudges of our troubled world! Thank you!!
Bravo!!!! ❤❤
Wunderbare Aufnahmen immer wieder! Danke! 😊
Amazing! The soprano woman and pianist.. bote really awesome 😮❤❤❤❤
Bravo! What an amazing performance! Thank you for sharing.
I wish this would happen in Melbourne. I love opera, ballet, orchestras, all of that, but I can NEVER afford to attend official performances, even the very cheapest. Children also need to see and hear such experiences.
omG! That brought tears to my eyes! So spontaneous and beautiful! Wowowow
This is rare talent
WOW..... WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GIFT YOU BOTH HAVE. THANK YOU FOR SHARING IT WITH US. 😊❤😊
It’s such a hard song! Beautiful 🤩 💕🙏✨
It's sooo beautiful when Spirit brings together random things like this and it turns into magic! ❤
This brings me such joy!!!
Thank you!
The Queen of the night, just like that, amazing!💖💖💖
God I love Mozart. Bravo both of you.
Je vous croiserais au supermarché et je ne saurais jamais à quel point vous êtes des musiciens talentueux. On ne doit jamais juger par l'apparence :) Merveilleuse rendition, un concert qui élève !
That was the most impressive sight reading I have ever seen. Reading off a phone is really difficult. Bravo to you.
Fabulous!!! And what a first-rate sight reader the young man is!
Thank you so much for your music and talent. My spirits have been lifted❤️and I did send a contribution. I have your channel on my phone and laptop. I am homebound so this music means so much. You don't really need a warm up when melodic memory takes over.... ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
She sings it without any warm up like that? Brava!!!!!!! She is THE queen of the night!!! hehe indeed!!!
Amazing!! Wow I'm so impressed by you both!!
Absolutely fantastic, one of my all time favorite pieces. Great job! 👍

Impressive performance!! Talk about serious concentration...well done!!
Ohh excellent. In the entire piece. A Beautiful Piece of Music.
Thank you both.
IMPRESIONANTE !! MARAVILLOSO!!! BRAAAAAAAAAAAVOOOOOOO👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
BRAVA!!! So many opera singers have ruined their good names trying to sing this; she nailed it! And excellent pianist! Very challenging piece and you played like a champ! BRAVO!!!
This is so cool! And you did a good job sight reading, well done!
I love this sort of thing. Well done Mr. Pianist. And that lady is such a star. Truly sweet voice. Love the way her only preparation was to loosen her scarf a little :)
Excellent. This is why the music will never die. A cold sight read - no warm up for the vocal unless she warmed up and immediately went there because of you. Good work. I love it.
