TOBERMORY Ontario Canada - Canadian Harbour Village on Georgian Bay Lake Huron
Tobermory is a harbour village on the Bruce Peninsula in the province of Ontario. Just southeast, Bruce Peninsula National Park is known for the Bruce Trail footpath on the craggy Niagara Escarpment, and the Grotto, a wave-carved cave in Georgian Bay. The village lies next to Fathom Five National Marine Park, which is home to the Flowerpot Island sea stacks, 19th-century lighthouses and multiple shipwreck dive sites.

I was there yesterday
I love Tobermory, used to go almost every weekend in the summer months to go SCUBA. Now I don't live in Canada anymore so miss it a lot. Great vid BTW.

@@lvfreeAdventures The key is using a dry suit, one can wear sweat pants and sweatshirts under the dry suit to stay warm so its not an issue at all. :)
If I ever decide to dive in Tobermory again - I'll try it!

@@ahmadmohamadamin4208 no, it gets super hot and humid in the Summers. The Georgian Bay has cold water, but it is not so crzy cold as ppl make it out to be. In August, the water is perfect for those hot, hazy and humid summer days. I find it odd tht ppl think it's so cold here all the time. Ontario has a similar seasonal temps as Michigan. Some ppl think they can cross border into Ontario and be able to ski in the summer, as if Canada is just a frozen tundra. Why didn't American schools teach anything about Canada? I went to Middle School 2 years in Florida and even the maps they showed were wrong....Canada would appear smaller that USA on the maps at school there, it would just be a shrunken little place above the border. In reality Canada is much larger than USA in Area. the population in Canada is smaller, but we have more land.
Summers are hot and humid here....Ontario has a similar climate to Michigan. It is only cold in the Winter. the Summmertime in Ontario is gorgeous.

I used to scuba dive at tobermory with a club called the devonian divers we spent a couple of weekends up there about 50 years ago it sure has changed a lot

Only good for 2 days if your going to flower pot island .restaurants close at 8 or 9:00 nothing much to do after an hour of walking ..but nice place

Are you saying Tobermory doesnt have enough acomodations and places to eat? or do you mean all of Ontario? Also where is taboremore lake? Ontario is just as modern with all the features for tourists, if not more, than most places in Europe, have you ever researched tourist destinations in Ontario or all of Canada?
I drove all the way from London and it’s 4 hour drive not worth it. Yes the water is beautiful but still too far all you see is farms it’s very depressing.
