Happy training. Robert, Didga, Boomer, Bindi and Jeb
my cat can do this trick- everyone finds it so impressive that I had a crowd of my friends watching my cat do it! thanks for posting it!
Didja is our favorite all-time cat!!! Great training!
I've managed to teach all my cats, 5 of them, to sit at command. XDD Now I'm trying to teach them to lie down.
It's easier to teach them in group. The one who obey the quickest get the most treat, and the rest will start following the lead seeing that if they do what the obedient one does, they'll get yummy treats. LOL
Bayou The group training with peers is brilliant
My cat is so food orientated that she understood "sit" in 5 minutes, "give paw" in 10 minutes, "beg/up" in 2 minutes and "kick a ball" on the third try :D Lie down is harder, I don't know how to get her down. That's why I'm here.
So cute that you have a bunch of cats doing tricks
When I give my cats some treats, they go crazy, reaching the treats as soon as possible lol
Super helpful tips!! My cat knows how to sit, shake, turn around and speak but I was having trouble getting her to lie down. I tried this style with the spoon and it worked. Originally using a small soft treat but since I switched she's extra motivated.
So cute
God bless you Robert, Didga and Boomer. I love all of you. You are so precious.
I only share a few tutorials here on CZcams, most are on my Patreon page. Thanks for supporting my tutorial making www.patreon.com/catmantoo
Can you go through claw clipping again but focus on training cats as adults.
Roll over
roll over and jump through a hoop
I would love to clicker train a cat to tolerate teeth brushing, nail trimming, pill swallowing and vet exams. Is that possible?
@@olgap1440 that tutorial is on Patreon atm, not sure when it will make it on YT
What a smart girl!!
Even though I don't have a cat I watch every video! Very informative and entertaining! Greetings from Germany!

Thanks for sharing will have to try this, my cats already sit on command and one of them gives me a high paw because she loves to use her paws 🐾 No treats just head scratches as a reward.

This is amazing! I don't own a cat (yet) but if I ever get cats, teaching them would be awesome.
Thank You ! My youngest ' addition to the family needs training , this is puuuurrrrfect . 👍🏼
Best cat ever ❤️
I just loved the way you taught to your lovely cat so liked the video and also I subscribed to your channel:)
That is so interesting and amazing. Thank you. Havent a cat at moment (cant) but an going to save them up for later then astound everyone. 🐱
Hi I am really amazed how well your cats are trained! They are smart kitties! I have long been thinking about training my cats and so far I only successfully trained them how to high five and paw using food reward. They are 2-year old now is it late for them to learn other tricks?
any age cat can learn, the higher the food drive the more you can teach them. All you need is the right training technique
Amazing. Got to try this!
I ♥️ Didga. She looks like a former cat of mine who I wish I had good vids of, Cypress. Love to Boomer too.
Cute video
I have a 4-month-old kitten and I saw this video and I was like hmm does this apply to kittens and she has the world's shorts attention span and she managed to go down a lot. I kept having to grab her attention back to the treat because all she wanted to do was play. Once she started to understand the concept she would go down once she has seen the treat, and this is only the first day.
It's Lie Down! Lay down means to place something.
Doesn't that just drive you crazy!
More videos pls
Hey Robert, I noticed when this video was posted early, that you asked people where they are watching from, but I don't see that comment here any longer?? Hmmmm... anyway cheers, from Canada. 🙏🐈
I love this. I don't understand why the clicker though. Anyone?
The clicker is a training tool that helps a cat learn much faster, I'll be uploading a tutorial explaining how to use a clicker.
@@CATMANTOO Thank you very much. :-)
😻
So far my cat learned all commands in 1 day each. But this one we're struggling with.
Умный кот!
Sou apaixonada por gatos. Sou do Brasil, e vocês?
Can anyone tell me what is the “click” sound in the video? Is it helpful for training the cat ?
I' LOVE YOU CATS😺😺😸😺😻😻
where do you get the clicker. i need one 😅
Hallo! Somebody knows when u can beginn to train a cat? How old should it be? Thanks!
可愛い〜(*≧∀≦*)
My cat is a rescue cat and he is extremely protective of food... He would have my hand off with his claws out before i go near him and he would have jumped towards me for the food lol
Me too.
My cat keeps snatching the food and making holes in my hand idk how to train him if he’s so stubborn like that.
Bery godd
The text instructions don’t stay on screen long enough to read all of them.
Hey that looks like my cat Inks
I hope the guy in this video teams up with Zak George
Hi Robert!
Can I ask what wet food you give to Didja and Boomer? I've tried almost all brands of wet food pouches on my cat but she hates them all 😭
I use a few different types, mostly RAW food, I go to specialty pet food shops to find the raw foods that are healthy for cats. The ingredient is mostly meat but the add a few other things that are essential to a cats diet. no preservatives, I buy it frozen then thaws out as needed. it's definitely more of a hassle this way but I know the cats are getting the best species appropriate diet as possible. You can also look for free dried treats, those are enticing to cats and healthy. I talk more about this on my patreon page at catmantoo
@@CATMANTOO thank you! Will join and take a look!
Who else watching this and have no cats nor any kind of pets hahaha
Do older cats learn new tricks?
My boy learned harness walking at 8 years old.
Proper technique is way more important than age, younger cats usually learn faster because they have a higher food drive, plus can handle more training sessions per day. older cats you just need to find the right food plus pick the right time to teach
No, you can only teach an old dog new tricks
camaroman101 😹😹
My cat only knows how to lie down while on a chair. He needs his paws to dangle on the edge. He learned it so fast coz it just happened that he lied down while waiting for my command. Now I dont know how to undo this and make him lay down on the floor XD
What treat do you give your cats to train ?
My cat just lay down when i put the spoon of food on the floor but she was sleeping that's why
:)
My cat only follows indications if she sees food in my hands, otherwise she just stares at me😄, any suggestions?
JUST FOUND THIS CHANNEL....hello follow cat lovers 😽💕
по моему кошка просто нажралась на стуле )))))))))
Cute! Please watch my japanese cat too!!
Pls do roll over if possible training my cat 🐈 to be a service animal/support animal
Thanks and using my grandmothers 👵 📱 that it not my name or profile
Is* lol
I thought training cats stresses them out
only if you don't know what you're doing. It challenges them, it gives them a sense of achievement, satisfying their natural hunting instincts. Then there is no need for them to be let outside to needlessly kill the local wildlife
Check this cat out
Why somebody would need their cat to do that?
For the same reason you train dogs! To bond with your pet and prevent risks or boredom for them. Also it can help and make living together easier when you need them to stay somewhere for a moment and they just do that. Animals have personality and like to be entertained. If they'rebored they search for entertainment...like destroying furniture or your stuff. One might want to prevent that. Training them tricks like this one achieves that.
Yea I don’t believe in tricks. There not clowns there cats.
