To start our MOST UNIQUE street food tour in Mersin, we went to have breakfast at a very local joint. We tried one of the most unique soups ever had before. Tarmer soup with chicken, lentils, tahini, and lots of spices.

As someone who has lived in Mersin for 18 years, I say that the places Max chose are very beautiful. But the place at 9:40 is not a Turkish bakery, it is a bakery opened by Syrians who came to Turkey as refugees after the Syrian civil war in 2011. Thanks for this beautiful video.

As a Turkish when I saw the USD price for these stuffs, I'm losing my mind :D Just 14.5 USD for fish and squid. That's insane. All foreigners should come to Turkey because of the exchange rate. Also all foods are delicious and people are just so kind. It's just a paradise for tourists.

They tend to make their food with spice, but not hot (with chillies). If you want it hot, add your own chilli flakes or
