    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy Před 7 měsíci +1

      Thanks.
      The crackling is the mic cord moving in the wind and I haven't figured out how to eliminate it yet but I'm working on it. I have three audio sources for my recordings to use. The best and primary is the mic that you hear me talking on but that is the one that crackles at higher speeds, then I have one in my left ear speaker for the communicator conversations but that is highly muffled unless using the comm audio and lastly I have the 360 cam on the handlebars but is not as good. I switch back and for at times to try to eliminate the crackling on the main microphone but it can't always be avoided.
      Looking forward to another great season of riding and can't wait to get started! Thanks for watching.

      You're right. Zuke should have bought my 600 but sleds were a bit pricey back when I sold my Blizzard so the timing wasn't right for him.

    Sorry Zook I’ve done the same thing started the sled let it warm up for about 2 min then cold seized the mag side on my 2010. I always thought that was an undeserved hit but then I got the 2020 with a temp gauge I’m amazed at how long it takes the engine to get up to 90. Not apples to apples because the new one is a 4 stroke but I definitely caused that cold seized engine. Let them warm up boys

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy Před 5 měsíci +1

      I always do. I've had a digital temp gage since I had my 2016 Blizzard. I believe he let his sled warm up as long as I let my 2022 warm up. I'll have to go back and watch it again. The digital temp gage and warm up notification is awesome! No guess work. Thanks for watching Jay.

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy Před 7 měsíci

      I think Zuke's problem isn't brand it's the age of the sleds. Prior to this sled he had 2003 and a 2002 sleds. This sled was 12 years old and we didn't know much about the history of it. It also was only the 2nd year of e-tec and the first year in the xrs. The rest of us are riding newer sleds and don't have the issues that he has. I will agree that Yamaha does make pretty reliable sleds but I don't see him ever riding a Yamaha again. We had a couple Yamaha sleds in the late 90's that were good to us. He's actually ready to go for the season and I will be releasing a video on that soon. Thanks for watching Frank.

    Which Linq bag to do like better? I see you have both, I have the older style but have been looking at the newer medium bag, I've had to modify mine with fender washers to keep it together with the base but it's had a good life, going on season 7 with it, I use a $5 black bungee net over it for added security. Thanks.

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy Před 7 měsíci +1

      Oh wow. I haven't had any issues with either bag even though the newer one I've only had for one season. I really like them both but if I had to choose I would get the original older one since the zipper is is on the outside and the loops. It can be over stuffed better and you could even add a small lock to the zipper loops to keep the honest guys out. The newer one is simpler and easier to get in and out of though so I do like that.
      Thanks for watching.

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy Před 7 měsíci +3

      He really seems to have bad luck when it comes to sleds. Let's see what he's riding this coming season. The 360 is a great camera but it creates twice as much work when it comes to editing. You have to watch all of the footage in order to get the shot aimed where you want it. Then render it and then add it to your existing time-line in your editing software to either sync it to other footage or decide what you want to keep. If recording with a GoPro and a 360 cam expect to at least double editing time. I guess you guys are worth it though. Thanks for watching Mike!

      The Blizzard rode great and if i hadn't got the new sled I would still be very happy with the Blizzard. However, since I have the 2022 Gen4 Renegade XRS 850 with Smart Shox I have to say it is on another level. The smart shox just smooth everything out so much better. You have to ride one to really understand how much it improves the ride and not a test ride. It has to be really ridden to fully feel the difference.

      Did you figure out why the cylinder died? Often case is the pistons gets tired and the aluminum comes off and damages the rings and cylinder wall. That is what I see now and again
