In the Portuguese version of the Splatoon 3 Direct, Big Man didn't say "Ay!" with translation brackets, he spoke normally... implying that he canonically speaks Portuguese.
I laughed out loud at "Welcome home, you cheater." I really wasn't expecting that reference! Big Man's lyrics just being ays is really giving the vibes of that joke cover of the Loyal Three battle theme you did. Overall, great cover! I love the additions of some parts from the live version for the second verse!

Big Man speaking in either Portuguese or AY? "WELCOME HOME CHEATER"? The addition of the concert parts? Man this cover really goes above and beyond!
The vocalists all did excellent jobs, from Eden's great energetic inflections on Frye's intro monologue, Maiden's incorporation of the concert vocals into the dialogue (that "OOOHHHHH how tragic" is great), and Khamydrian's great backing harmonies and Panicking Alla Big Man Portuguese. And for the lyrics - great job mixing the dialogue to the rhythms, and making every line a new way to bully Big Man. At least Boss Lady is there to back him up at the end.
Also, shoutout to the artwork, with Big Man Dying In 4k and Big Man "!!!"

I love how Shiver and Frye are just incredibly greedy and territorial, and generally not good people.
It's a change and makes for pretty amazing interactions, and also a nice commentary on the cutthroat gang warfare that is the big media industry, behind the scenes.
I wouldn't go as far as to say they're not good people, but the girls REALLY value their threesome friendship and don't easily allow a fourth person in the picture. They formed the group when they were still middle schoolers, and growing up in the poor Splatlands they had to be frugal and money-savvy (so they did the Robinhood thing in Hero Mode).

I can't describe how good this is. Splatoon Music is outstanding anyway, the minus is usually you can't understand the text, these fixed it and the picked voices were perfect as always. I guess the little rap battle Shiver and Frye had with Of the hook was the payback for that, since Big Man wasn't there instead they called themselfes Fire and Ice.
