Here is a list of some of the crops grown in the province: Canola, Hard Red Spring Wheat, Durum Wheat, Lentils, Chick Peas, Peas, Flax, Mustard, Oats, Corn & Hemp. I don't know any reason why not.. I live here in this area some really nice places. And a lot of older farmer are retiring and there is know won taking them over the kids are not staying on the farms or it's there grand parents place.. a lot of love goes into these places..
In this province, you have to be a Permanent Resident of Canada to own land. Other provinces I think are open to foreign buyers
