Santhosh George Kulangara is an Indian television producer, director, author, broadcaster, publisher and traveller. He is the founder and managing director of Safari TV, a channel dedicated to travel and history-based programmes. Kulangara also serves as the head of Labour India Publications, an educational publisher based in Marangattupilly. As of 2021, Kulangara had travelled to more than 130 countries and his journeys are telecast through Sancharam, the first travel documentary in Malayalam.
In this episode of I AM, he shares his journey from his childhood till today, where he stands tall as a media person He has also made his mark as a the first Indian who finds a place in the team of space tourists who will go on the journey in Richard Branson Virgin Galactic space tourism venture. He would be the first Indian from our country to do so. He shares his myriad experiences from the time he worked in Labour India Publications as a teenager to help out his father. His shares his first lessons in entrepreneurship and financial management, he learnt from his father. He shares how he ventured into television which was his passion and his dream. He worked very hard then to put out the content he created, on Asianet Tv channels and other channels initially. He suffered various losses and yet continued to persevere and work hard to achieve his dream his own travel show, Sancharam. His words, his life experiences are an inspiration to us Malayalees who think of him and a person with innovative ideas, out of the box solutions to problems that we face as a society. He talks about how he achieved Financial Independence, his various business ideas, how he looks at entrepreneurship and shares his travel stories and experiences from around the globe as a traveller. He talks about the wonderful relationship he shares with wife and what keeps them going. He shares his reasons why he embarked on this journey towards space tourism via Richard Branson`s Virgin Galactic. He shares stories of his success and failures, how he built his successful business ventures, the way he struggled in his childhood and overcame every obstacle that was thrown in his way. He continues to inspire us Malayalees with his dreams and his inspiring words. The two part episodes are packed with information, knowledge, life lessons and insights into what makes Santhosh George Kulangara the visionary that he is.

This interview was different from many of his other interviews, that most of the discussion was related to his personal life, rather than general issues or topics,which i found really interesting. And i am a big fan of both these personalities!

Most interviews I've seen SRK says same things. It's not hia fault. The interviewer doesn't know how to extract new things.
