- After a few months of ownership, I have pretty much settled on my setup for my Harley Davidson Pan America Special for Off Road adventure bike touring!
I am a bit of tight ass and a lot of the parts I buy are on Ebay, if you want any information please hit me up in the comments I will shoot you the links.
I am sure there will be a few more minor mods but for now this is how the bike is being ridden.

Great video - thanks for sharing your mods and thoughts. You mention you still love the bike, that's great to hear. What are your thoughts on the built-in navigation system?
Overall, I still love my new Pan America. I started out for a ride the other day and the battery was dead - a bit frustrating and I'm still sorting it out. Can't figure out why it drained other than a bad battery. You have me thinking about your jump-start within. Anyway, once the battery is fixed, I should be back on the love side of the relationship. 😂

I have saved hundred on some thing by getting from Aliexpress, these days money is money. Got my Pazoma exhaust fitted yesterday after watching your review, sounds great now.
That's awesome how good are they for the price! Did you leave it as is or add a db blocker? Wifey likes it without the blocker I just found it a bit loud, she doesn't think so!

How are the odd electrical problems that were being reported by some? The engines have been really good right? I think the Harley is one of the best looking ADV bikes. Especially the plain nice muffler that isn't trying to look like a spaceship.
Yeah great looking bike I love it! I haven't had any electronic issues touch wood, if I do I'll definitely do a video on it. Great engine!

Hi…can I ask which model of Givi tank bag you used? And….any comments with your experiences of owning it (I’m currently looking at either a Givi or SW Motech) so asking around to see what others have done and how they are living with them ! I’m particularly keen not to disrupt my vision of the infotainment display screen or handlebar mounted phone mount! Cheers !
Its a Givi TankLock 15-18 litre bag using the Tanklock system, its awesome, I am 6'3" and can see over it no worries at all. It has extendable height but I never need it. Hope that helps, I love the Tanklock system I take the bag from bike to bike, used it on my old bikes before, Tiger 800xc and the 1290R Super Adventure.

Just a quick follow up….I noticed upon watching this again that you mentioned that you’d modified the bags to help them clip on…..what did you do please ? I’m about to buy a set of these as I can’t justify the cost of a hard bag setup on mine….
@@mattgolding7557 the bags have 2 U shaped plastic clip on the top that they kind of hang off on the racks. Then I use the bottom 2 straps on the bags to secure them , it works fine,

Did I understand that you put your handlebars back to stock?
Oh mate I tried a few combos! I did have the rearward mount riser with a flat mx bar but it hit my Tanklock bag so yes I went back to stock! I'm used to it now I've told myself to stop! But yeah mainly because of the tank bag situation.
