Ahoy Mates!
Welcome onboard Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas! We are sailing 7 nights from Galveston Texas on a Western Caribbean itinerary visiting Roatan Honduras, Costa May Mexico, and Cozumel Mexico! We are onboard this Freedom Class ship to try some new offerings such as Tidal Wave waterslide, Saturday Night Fever theatre show, and Sabor modern Mexican cuisine! There are also many Royal Caribbean staples onboard such as Studio B ice skating rink, Perfect Storm waterslides, FloRider surf simulator, and Windjammer buffet!
Today we found the sun!!! Yay! We have a full day at sea and we are going to fill it with some onboard activities! First up is the water slides onboard, the Perfect Storm (two twisting body slides) and Tidal Wave (a boomerang style 1-2 person tube slide)! We had experienced the body slides on other ships but this was our first time on Tidal Wave! It was definitely a wild ride and we talk about some things to be aware of before riding! We also had a delicious dinner at the Johnny Rockets diner and searched for the Ben & Jerry room overlooked by Jenn and Berry!

Great vlog! There is a Ben & Jerry's "sweet" on all the Freedom class ships only and it is the same room number on each ship. The room is definitely cow themed and gives you one free ice cream for each booked guest per day and access to the concierge lounge, basically suite privileges (or at least it used to). If you really want to see what it looks like there are several older cabin tour vlogs right here on CZcams.

We also do not drink alcohol. I loved the blueberry nojito and watermelon mint lemonade suggestions. Any other interesting mocktails you can recommend on RC aside from the typical pina colada, daquiri, mojio etc?
Hi Jennifer! I haven't tried a lot because I usually get the watermelon mint lemonade since its my favorite. I get a standard Shirley Temple sometimes. If you happen to be on Wonder of the Seas and at the Mason Jar restuarant/bar, they have a Southern Belle drink that made me a non alcoholic version of and it was so tasty! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳

thanks for showing the slide requirements! We cruise next month on LotS, and it seems like my daughter isn't quite heavy enough to ride the tidal wave with me. Are there any height/weight requirements on the other slides (typhoon)?

That boomerang slide looks wicked, Would you say its similar to the one on CoCo Cay, but a mini version of that?
Hi Dipa! The boomerang part is definitely a similar style to Slingshot at Coco Cay! One difference is on Slingshot you’re in a circular 5-6 person tube that spins and twists more while going up the ramp while with Tidal Wave it’s a 2 person tube that keeps you going forward facing on the way up and then backwards on the way down. We definitely like Slingshot more but Tidal Wave is super cool to have on a ship!
So in the Oasis there is no public access to the Helipad. On the Liberty, do you have helipad access 24/7 weather dependent or just during sail-away?

Honestly when you guys eat at a place like Jonny rockets do they upgrade your food because your youtubers? Because when we were on Anthem i told my wife we got to try Jonny rockets and for twenty five bucks all we got was a small burger no fries except the extra bacon and cheese fries and it was so small it was pathetic. To top it off we got a cup of coke and i mean a cup of coke.
Hi Michael! Honestly no, we don’t get special treatment when we dine at any of these places. A lot of the time it’s mid way through the meal before the crew realizes we’re vloggers lol It may function differently on different ships. I’m so sorry your experience wasn’t great. I remember you guys said on your video " remember it's an Express not a full size restaurant" and the no fries could have been a mask thing, because I didn't understand what he was saying and I don't think he understood what I was saying.
