Mahrez is such a fine player. One of the best in his position. Towards the end of last season Pep needed consistency and stability, lest he's accused of over tinkering or over experimenting that's why he played Bernardo back to back. Had nothing to do with Mahrez's abilities
I think Bernardo provide more work ethic especially on the defensive position. Mahrez on Par with Bernardo on attacking, however on defense and Pressing Bernardo is better.

@Thewe34 what are you smoking? When Pep plays Alvarez and Haaland at the same time, it weakens the midfield. Pep experimented in games with easy opposition, but Pep can't afford to do that in every game. Pep can only play with 11 players just like any other manager. Plus, you have other players to make happy as well. Mancity is not just Alvarez and Mahrez
