Concerning Aqua: her divine attacks
A little bit of info for you! The reason Aqua is a complete failure against the Giant Toads is because her attacks were either Blunt, the God's Blow, or Water, God's Requiem. And the Giant Toads almost completely resist both of them. Blunt, because of their squishy bulk. And water because Toad. Thus, she is useless against them. And the only contribution she has is being bait to make them hold still for Kazuma.
Fun fact: While it seems like it, the author does not think of Konosuba as a parody of Isekai, just subversive and comedic (this is partially due to the author being influenced by a game from the West that the author played: Wizardry, a somewhat tough/unfair dungeon crawler RPG with humor in it.) Akatsuki is friends with the RE: Zero author and they helped each other with their unique takes on Isekai (Akatsuki went for subversive comedy and the RE: Zero author went for a subversive and darker take on the genre, both loving and twisting expectations on the genre.) Megumin is based on Rikka from Love, Chuunibyou, and Other Delusions (in a Drama CD, she had the same VA) and is the most popular character in the entire series to this day (she sweeped the entire popularity poll, before S3 started airing.) Aqua is based on Haqua from The World God Only Knows and Darkness is based on a bit of Saber from Fate/Stay Night and Centorea from Monster Musume.
Fun Trivia: Aquas Gods Blow actually deals alot of damage but since shes the the goddess of water it deals water damage to which the Frogs are highly resistant

And now we've seen the main 4. Isekai's most lovable bunch of idiots. I wouldn't want to be friends with them, but they're fun to watch.
Oh watch a clip of Lina Inverse from Slayers casting Dragu Slave. Megumin explosion is a parody of that.
Don't know if someone already said this... But all the endings are Sung by the Female Voice Actors
So sucks that s1 is animated well and s2 was crap. S3 recovered but we waited like 7 years. I hope s4 will be a short wait. Also 10-11 eps per season is so BS.

Whenever Megumin does her spell chants, all i can think is "even if it's not, it feels like a Slayers reference." also Lina (slayers MC) is also a iconic flatty sorceress. Oh and they did have to chant for powerful spells. like her most iconic, shown below.
