support is the easiest role but masters 5 is not mid level. he can also easily climb to gm if he wanted to.

Plat-Diamond is that elo range where the enemy dps is somehow good enough to be a hassle to you, but your everyone is somehow bad enough to not yet know how to play with or against supports so it just kind of becomes a fiesta of who's dps is better.
LITERALLY, in high plat, I’ve played high plat/low diamond/ high gold lobbies, and there are STILL one tricks that refuse to swap! Or they only play off tank/ snipers and it’s a pain. God forbid I give any swap suggestions to give us an advantage.
@@AletheSnail7 One tricking is prob the best choice to learn and understand the game. You might win the battle, but you will not win the war against elo hell by swapping all the time.

i have the most time on dps. my ranks for ever role currently are tank: plat3 dps: plat1 support: mast4. jay3 can easily climb to gm on support if he wanted too. he just needs to play more games

I went from dps to support and I’ve found only one problem: Teammates. Tank doesn’t push up or protect, dps can’t hit anything or turn around because they have an ultra low sens, and the other support doesn’t prioritize healing so I or the dps never get healed because they can’t heal anything besides the tank. Same problem on dps, where the supports don’t prioritize healing and the tank doesn’t know what they’re doing. When will Blizzard get rid of boosted people?

5:02 I learned from experience that you could cancel Nano. But I had no idea Sleep dart was cancelable.
They changed it in s9, before s9 you could not cancel sleep, at least not with doom punch.
you can also cancel kiri's tele from my experience
dooms punch can literally cancel any ability or ult

I'm mostly dps and support but played as Tank Orisa yesterday. Took me a while to know the mechanics and popped off with 31 kills in Comp. I was shocked XD

I don't get their qualifying games: you can get "masters 5" even with 2 games lost, but I saw a few times when someone pop off and won 10/10, but got only "plat 3" on a fresh new account.

How do you get placements for your roles? I’m in elo hell and didn’t get placements for my roles for some reason so I basically have no reason to play this season.

The first game I was surprised that was plat...felt more like silver/gold how people were playing. And I thought gold was a little better...sigh.
How can a man be so skilled in mechanics but oh so oblivious when it comes to game sense...

But supports are healers, that's why sym was moved

@@YAYAYOYOY32 They are yes, but healing is only one subset of their purpose. Sym was moved out of the role because people in general have 0 clue on how to play support and think that supports should heal 24/7. If OW only existed in pro play, I can guarantee that you would see many heroes in support that wouldn't have any healing capabilities, just like old sym was. :)
