Oh boy, Angelia said something that really resonates with me. Let your children find themselves through their own clothing choices. Never underestimate how important this is. As a young person, when my mom took me shopping, she'd always go on and say that she knew best about my style and bought the clothes she liked for me. When I started working and for the first time I went to a shop alone, I had no idea what I liked, or what my style was and I realized that I didn't even know who I was as a person. The way you present yourself is a huge part of your identity.
The exact same thing is still going on with me.

As someone who has actually met and spent a number of hours with Angelia, one on one, I can tell you that she is amazing, and her care for others is very genuine. She was just like anyone else you hang out with, very relaxed and very engaging. It was during the start of the whole brangelina saga. She was so afraid of the paparazzi who had followed her to our meeting place. When it was time for her to leave, she didn’t want to go, but was forced by obligation to attend some kind of event. She grabbed my arm and told me to not let her go, as we weaved our way through the crowd that had formed, knowing where she was. Once she reached her security guards, they whisked her away in a black SUV with the paparazzi in tow. It was actually really sad, because she really just wanted to be “normal” just for that moment we had together, but she knew the minute she left, her existence was far from normal. She sat on the floor in my room and showed me all her tattoos, explaining the meaning behind each one, and spoke of her mother who was fighting cancer, and her very validated fears of getting cancer herself. That insight to her life, as brief as it was, really impacted my view of celebrities, and seeing that they suffer from anxiety and fear, just as we all do, and that some of them don’t choose to be idolized the way that they are. Mad respect for this woman, absolutely love her ❤ She is beautiful inside and out!

I liked her, wasn’t super fanatical about her, but after meeting her and having long conversations with her…I am now completely love with her (not in that way 😆) just as a person I will always admire and support. Her heart is truly in the right place, despite her past and mistakes, she really does just want the best for people and her charity work is genuinely from her heart, not for clout. What she did for my son was not publicised, I asked permission to make it public by taking a photo. She didn’t expect any media or gratitude for her decision to spend time with him, because he was a huge fan, and battling cancer…he was 7 years old at the time.

I will say, I don’t like this style of interview. They never show who she’s talking to, and it’s some kind of voice over for the questions. It’s awful. It doesn’t feel like a conversation, just a monologue of sorts. Angelina is a unique individual, no doubt.

I have ALWAYS loved her and always taken up for her. To me she is probably the most normal of people. Her and Drew Barrymore. They are both the same age as me and I feel like I could actually like talk to them like people maybe because a lot of us kids went thru so many similar changes at those same ages. Now I don’t have kids. But it’s true what she says. Once you realize you need to just be yourself. And embrace your changes and that “madness”. Feel all the feels. We are humans! 😊

I absolutely LOVED the collaboration Jolie did with St. John. Jolie looked amazing in every piece of St. John. I'm sure they loved working with her because she made their designs come alive with grace, elegance and true, natural beauty. The one crazy thing is that she was pictured so many times on set during that campaign and she always had food in her hand or was standing at the Crafty table.
