I have the Braun 9 pro and an old Philips 5000. Philips is much more quiet in operation. I usually shave when I watch some youtube videos. Braun is too noisy. I prefer the Philips. And the resultat will be similar. Braun gives however a little bit faster shave and more comfortable on the throat areas. Philips 5000 is much cheaper, easy to clean, just press a button and rinse under the water. The Braun easy also. I just rinse it under hot water and spray it with some essential oil afterwards. Only twice a month I use the cleaning station. AND! There is no vibration in the Philips. Braun is more like a massage stick.

What is the difference between braun 9 pro and pro plus?
The Series 9 PRO+ is a rather incremental update to the Series 9 PRO. The Series 9 PRO+ comes with revised aesthetics and a tweaked slide-out hair trimmer. The ProTrimmer of the new Braun Series 9 PRO+. The cassette is the same 94M that comes with the Series 9 PRO, so no changes there.

Bullshit, the Brain series 9 and the 9 Pro are absolutely the same only difference is a “new” design of the cartridge with some extra groves on the borders. Same shit just a lot a marketing. Both uses titanium only on the center trimmer.
Biggest difference is on the price. Buy whatever model is cheaper where you live.
