And warriors think the pods might be a Steve Nash, so no way they’d give up pods plus picks for Laurie. I was shocked when I saw moody and all those picks and swaps and Utah didn’t bite. If the jazz keep Lauri, they MUST move 2/3 of clarkson, Collins, or Sexton. Those 3 are responsible for about 50ppg, we would be BAD without them, and we get to keep our one really good piece.
Why do you want to hold on to your best piece when he doesn't fit your teams timeline because of his age. If he was 23 I would agree 💯 but by holding onto him all you're doing is wasting his prime and keeping him from competing for a Championship for your (and Ainge's) own personal desire

They made a good point on picks not guaranteed to be high. But that’s always an issue for Utah picks. if they get enough picks, they can move up in the draft. Spurs are going to be even better than the warriors in 3 years when Steph is out.

If jazz wants good young players to line up with Flagg, trade Laurie for kuminga straight up and forget the picks. Kuminga is 21. Laurie is what 27? 6 years younger is perfect and kuminga is amazing. A kuminga. And Flagg pairing would make Utah contenders in a couple years. You guys made a good point on picks not guaranteeing to be good. Kuminga is a freak of nature athlete. He can be like a faster 2 way Kawhi type player but with better offense. If you stop asking for the picks and somehow are able to just land this kid, you won and you don’t sound as ridiculous as when you ask warriors for the whole franchise.
