Thats exactly what I was thinking when i saw the ending. Its Breathtaking. It made me ponder the intense connections humans (a mother and her child) can make.
The ending must be one of the most beautiful things ive ever heard a mother say about her son. Also, ive not stopped listening to this song all day.
You can tell where he gets his rhythm from in a sense though with that poem she wrote

God this is is truly phenomenal. The lyricism is beautiful and I could picture everything what is he saying and the whole video is powerful and the end when the mother is expressing her love for her son just made me shed a tear. That song is powerful and I can relate to it on a deep level. Such a good thing I've discovered Loyle Carner by friends telling me about him how dope he was. Hes a real poet at heart.

Loyle made life so much better it's crazy how I can relate to some that's successful in life
Lost my Dad to cancer when he was 41 and my mum to suicide at 47 - tracks like this are almost too much to take. I give them listen but have to move on.

Something really special happened at the end here. The lighting in that garden, the imprecision of the handheld camera, the honesty and simplicity of his mum’s spoken word, the delicate piano keys. I ain't gone lie, I shade a few tiers after I heard this song, made me think of my mom living in Austin, one I left behind after getting deported after some stupid mistake I made when I was 18 years old. Today I turned 38 and I sent this song to my mom and told her how much I loved her, thank you for making me feel! and thank you for reminding me of a better time, when I had my mom next to me.
