Thank you so much for adding subtitles! For me, the fact that a CZcamsr adds subtitles is proof that they really care about the community and their inclusiveness.
Thanks Benjamin! Yes, it takes a lot of extra work too :)
it looks like the hotel was occupied by someone, because in front of the door where there is a pool there is a pool cleaning machine and a pipe that is neatly rolled up like it has just been used
The onsen was clearly not abandoned. There’s still using it. The building not so much. It looks like that building was recently vacated. Like in the last few months. I don’t think it was very smart of them to keep the lights on when they were at using space. Unless of course they were actually renting it.
I don't understand how such a nice building is just abandoned as is.
Good job guys. I enjoy your videos and exploring and how respectful you are to what you may find.
This was a great exploration, and the free hotel experience is a very cool one to relate to. Had a good time watching you having a good time!
Always enjoy the videos you upload Bob! Keep up the good work! 😀
Japan really is an interesting place. I've always wanted to go there to see it myself. Such an interesting mix of ultra modern and traditional culture. Plus, it's nice to see a place where stuff is generally left alone, unlike most places where anything abandoned gets swarmed and looted if people leave for more than a day.
Japanese believe anything that wasn't successful or was abandoned is cursed and they won't loot or in many cases even trespass. However this doesn't mean they will use it again nor would they sell it. They both believe that the place can never be used again plus it's owner still believes that the land is valuable to sell. Even though it'll never sell because if the aforementioned curse thing. Japanese people are screwed up. An entire race of high functioning anxiety lunatics.
Japan has really cool abandonments, though a lot of the highlights have been demolished in the past years :(
Yeah how come it wasn't all u mentioned
Weird really didn't look abandoned to me at all
Just can’t understand why it has power when says it’s abandoned for decades.
Who cleaning pool just doesn’t figure
Amazing video! Thanks for sharing this one with us.
15:35 those light fixtures as so beautiful ❤
Looks like a butt load of fun and adventure. Another great one, thanks Robert.
Another great video keep up the good work 👍👍
i have watched many of these type of shows.......YOURS by far the best yet and wow im hooked and thank you very much, well wishes to all!
Thanks Tony! To be honest there are better ones on my channel😁 (And a lot of the best places worldwide I still have to upload)
A very nice explore again, not a bad place even after 24 years abandonment
You guys actually had a great adventure and a lot of nice finds! I can’t believe you found that hotel with the Onsen! Lol! Thank you for sharing 😊
Incredible video!!! Fantastic channel❤️
Absolutely fascinating! Thanks 🙏 really enjoyed this. Brilliant
Absolutely brilliant explore, a virtually untouched hotel. Loved the cheeky check in :)
I imagine all the rooms are unlocked and they needed the key to make sure nobody wandered in during the night.
Great video and awesome explore! That was really conveniant in a free hotel with a free onsen 👊🏻 would be very nice after 8 days. Loved the explore! Abandoned for over 2 decades and in still such a untouched condition.... you nailed it with this location Bob! Tot de volgende video 🔥🔥🔥
You guys live life to the fullest.
Great find 👍
Awesome video Bob as always man love the videos you put out.
Thanks Ricky! Some bunkers coming up😁
@Exploring the Unbeaten Path I look forward to watching them the bunker videos are my favorites.
Awesome video, great exploration.
Awesome episode. Couple things that I find striking is that some of these places look really clean, even after being abandoned for years. Another thing is that there is pretty much 0 evidence of theft or vandalism. It makes these places so much more interesting to explore. Last, but not least I also get the impression that everything is unlocked and easy to access!
Well, this one was locked pretty well, but we managed to find a way in after some climbing :)
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath 😃😃😂😂🤣🤣
It's certainly not abandoned
Thanks so much for sharing this,Bob! I really hope you are doing well💕💜 I would never leave that place,Wow!!!
Thanks Brenda! All good here, just back from Hungary and next week I go to explore in China!
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath Safe travels!😊
This video was perfect please don't change much.
Perfect premier.
I really enjoy your travels. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing
This is crazy! You always explore the greatest spots man, this time with a 5-star experience haha! You were fearless with that spider too haha
Just lovely.
Enjoyed this video. Liked the hotel explore. Really like exploring buildings like this one.
Great video Thanks
Perfect vídeo Bob
Very interesting...looks like an opportunity missed at the first disregarded place - looks distinctly like a covered pyramid in your short clip!!
leave as you found it, love these explores.
Im glad you explained the reasoning behind so much waste, but it still doesn't make it right. All the wood, dishes, art, everything can be recycled. I wish people would not be so wasteful. Love how you go about doing you're videos. And your knowledgeable and respectful and I really appreciate that.
Thanks for checking! You can’t imagine what’s all left behind😳😓
Great video Bob. You both were living your best lives in the hit springs lol. Cheers
this looks amazing
Thank you for sharing your videos on the places you explore.
Another hor spring is in Banff,Alberta.
There is a 30 minute limit in mineral pool.
I could barely breath in thar pool. Sulphur springs.
That place isn't abandoned and could be -30 c and that water be a steamy 89°F.
That's Awesome..!
great episode :)
I was only able to watch your new video just now as I have been very busy for the past 3 days😃 By the way that was the real Relax Center hotel! Nice find, as always!😊
Love it!
Pure gold :)
Amazing!!
Damn, wat vet man! Ongelofelijk dat de Japanners uit schaamte/cultuur zulke gebouwen intact laten om vervolgens de natuur het te laten overnemen.
Zorgt wel voor super dikke content!🤯
Thanks! De Fukushima serie al gezien ? Ook heel erg apart😮
WOW.... SO INTERESTING
Love your guys laughs! 😂
That is a major win!
Thanks for checking out David!
Just watched this Awesome Video Absolutely Enjoyed it 😊😅You Guys Allways Have a Great Time Love The Stunning Onsen Fantastic View Being Abandoned Epic Vieo Bob Stay Safe😊

Great video !
Thanks for checking out😎
This is an amazing video. My favourite spot in this video was the karaoke bar.
On your way to 500.000 subscribers! 👍🏻 Finally!
Hopefully soon to the 1 million
Japanese hotels are the best, good work Bob!
Amazing Video 🫡
That room was great what I find
you wouldn't find this untouched abandoned hotel in South Africa here everything gets stolen even if people is still in it - love your video's
Thanks Leon! Only explored a timber factory there
Japan is just so cool
Oque torna esse vídeo realmente mais especial é o fato de tudo ainda está intacto e a história 100% preservada ...
Yes! Research for new, unknown abandoned places worked out
Nice view
Nice hotel an addition like for ceep the electricity on.
Schitterend gemaakt weer.
Surprised the power is stil on
This hotel closed in 2018.
The open-air bath is also managed by the hotel next door and currently requires a reservation.
Ah, you mean the hotel where we slept.
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath
Yes
By the way, it seems that the reason why electricity is passing is that it is used occasionally.
Goed gedaan hoor!
Jullie maken prachtige Urban explorer Docu's, de Fukushima serie in het bijzonder,
Thanks, er komen nog wat afleveringen uit Fukushima online binnenkort😎
19:23 : looks like an old Soundcraft mixer
O videos de vocês são ótimos, gosto muito. Obrigado por colocar Legendas 🇧🇷
Heyya bob.. staysafe brother..
Honest this makes me smile, Free hotel spa with sea view.😂
Crazy they just let it go 😢
Já deixado meu like 👍🏻😃👏🙏🤠 ótimo vídeo top demais mesmo 😃
Good video
Dude! Shoes off in the room. Interesting place. Japan does great water features.
I know.. but do you have any idea hoe much glass is scattered around! After stepping into it twice I don’t take them off anymore. Not want to get injured at the other side of the world.
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath
If you don't trespass in the first place, you don't have to worry about getting hurt by glass. Also, it is a crime to enter a hot spring without paying. Even a child can understand this.
Meu Deus que riqueza o que houve aí por que está abandonado coisa mais❤❤👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷❤
Welcome to Japan.I know this place. I think it's definitely in the Izu area.
Yes, it’s in Izu Atagawa, Kamo District
Japan is such a beautiful country, and lots of cool abandoned places, I will go 1 day
I actually went to that hotel and walked around a few years ago. I just never posted a video about it. There were a few other people when I got there also...
where exactly??
@@kohteehock9020
There are many places like this throughout Japan, take a drive 3-6 hours outside of Tokyo and you will find plenty of awesome things.
Look up the poorest prefectures and start there.
Something is wrong with CZcams I am set to notify all on but it didn't tell me any notification great episode Bob
Bob must have offended someone, I didn't get mine either.
@@bender7565 it wasn't just his channel for me I had notifications on for 3 other channels and nothing for them but 1 I didnt have them set for sent a notification
You are supposed to take your shoes off before entering your room - no class LOL.
We are all voyeurs here, relying on you guys to take us places. The more detail the better, for me. So I really enjoyed this explore, with nearly everything intact, and I'd have gladly watched a couple of hours of you getting into the hotel's nooks and crannies like I would myself. Maybe there's a certain kind of voyeur that craves all the little details of the building's former life; if so, I'm all about it. Just sayin.
wow.
Hi Bob!
Hello came across your channel today it was very interesting will definatly sub to your channel
That Toyota 😍 1:21
It is a Datsun 1200 B110.
1.20 nice Opel Kadett project!
It is a Datsun 1200 B110.
@@nemesis2264 Nice catch, thanks. These things were everywhere in the 70s-early 80s UK.
Hey Bob, maybe you could take some ghost hunting equipment with you at some point?!
спасибо за видео
Unbelievable. Really respect the Japanese strong sense of tradition and culture.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏... fantastica
If this was in South Africa with in no time it would be just a empty shell.
I have seen a nice factory in SA though. But yeah left unattended, there won’t be much left😂
Lovely place! Where in Japan is this abandoned onsen hotel?
Ghosties!!!
Didn't get the notifications again, f*ckin youtube. Wild place bro 🤙
I hope, you at least left a tip for the chamber maid! And no ghosts so far? Well there will be a first time for everything!😂
1997 was a bad year for Japan. Several banks and financial institutions collapsed late in the year and there was a run on the banks. Domesitic tourism faltered as people weren't keen on spending disposible income when the economy was faltering.
It wasn't uncomon for hotels just to close their doors with a view to reopening 'shortly' after the storm had passed. That time never came, and with the devaluing land prices, they weren't even atractive for redevlopement or sale.
Thus you end up with the time capsules you see in the videos. Plus also with the extremely low crime rates in Japan, alot of places go untouched until the weather and lack of maintenance take their toll.
Tack från Sverige
I want to go to this hotel just to stay in it.
No screwing around, just using it as an a free hotel in japan
I have mapped out over 2000+ abandoned places in Japan and work closely with a website hidden from the western world, only known in Japan.
If you are still in Japan, or go back, drop a comment so I know you see this and I'll message you the website and the list. I don't want it public, but I trust you guys.
I've mapped some amazing locations, never seen to the public eye. And we keep it up to date, so we have places that were recently abandoned or found.
Hi ...please message me
Hey mate, I’ve been quite some times in Japan and will be back for sure, I still have places to check. Drop me an email at info@bobthissen.com
I'm coming back to Japan next week and hope to build with the haikyo community there.
I've got a good amount of spots I hope to visit, ideally compare with others to assess what places are not safe etc.
Looking to hire a car and drive to a number of spots.
Also happy to show the urbex spots here in Melbourne Australia
you know its so sad and wasteful because I would say some restaurants in japan would love to have some of the equipment but if some of that stuff including the fixtures like lights and furniture were put in a salvage shop and advertised to tourists it would sell very well
