RE drains your money. Their bikes need lot of maintenance and care from time to time. This is applicable for all bikes classic, Thunderbird, Electra or standard. RE does that intentionally by not using good quality material or lack of good engineering, customers need to run after servicing again and again. This way RE makes more money in service apart from sales.
Amazing, Amazing Harshad
I am amazed by the fact that you understood such complicated things where others aren't able to,
you are so so very correct
Dealers have there profit in service than that from sales
and that's why they sell AMC too
Glad you said that
@@AmitTrails that is because I am owner of RE motorcycle from last 10 years and have ridden my bike for 150000 kilometers across multiple states covering north as well as south India
Lack of good engineering definately...RE cannot be compared to Honda or Yamaha japanese brands which have least issues....older enfield 350 you needed your own personal garage lot of Maintenance issues every now and then
Its a business policy. You make much money from spare parts.

Can you tell me the duration of changing if break pads both front and rear as mine only run 2800km and need to change both rear and front
Bro they changed engine gasket cover in first service and first service costed me around 3600 here in mumbai
If i am only planning to use this bike for once a year when i come to india...will it be expensive to maintain ?? Battery will be dead for sure and will need replacement ig unused for 1 year.....cost of battery ?? Also fuel filter Rs 5000 thats insane high price will also have to be replaced for sure if the bike is unused ....since i will have very limited use of this bike will the brake pads go bad if its unused for 1 year or maybe not ?? Please advise...also when its brand new it wont give any mechanical issues but since this is Royal enfield and Not a Honda or Yamaha ( japansese engineering ) and its known for a lot of problems once its old and then its expensive to repair....old enfield 350 you needed your personal garage to fix it every now and then....Valve / Tappet issues....oil Leakage issues....Steering Cone set Replacement.....Wiring issues ..Rectifier...but maybe now its a new Generation Royal Enfield maybe it might not be very Troublesome to maintain but still can never be compared to Honda yamaha which has least issues...please Advice
You should rent the bike in such case
Muje lagta tha 10,000 ki first service hoti hai yeh toh bhot sasti nikli
Mileage kya hai please reply.
Mileage is quite less, Shashank
it's around 25 kmpl in city
30kmpl on highways
@@AmitTrails thats a superb mileage bro for a 650 cc twin cylinder bike... .very older RE 350 bullet also had around the same mileage or even less
