"Aashrit" is the short film that has been made on the common Marathi people living in Mumbai. It represents the life of the mill workers which was going well till the 1990s. After that when the struggle started due to the closure of the mills is the real fight which is still going on. Throughout this journey, smothering of the Marathi people, they are being thrown out of Mumbai, the extinct existence of our mother tongue Marathi and the steps taken to stop it all again are the things presented in this short film.

मुलखात जाता माझो चाकरमानी झील आत्ता बंद पडली मिल. हे अशोक हांडे यांचं गाणं आठवलं.
खरंच या मुंबईतील मिल बंद पडल्या आणि मुंबईतील कसा मराठी माणूस विखुरला गेला. हे या फिल्म मधून पाहायला मिळालं खूप सुंदर शॉर्ट फिल्म झालीय.roshan soye आणि इतर लोकांची पण act छान zhaliy. दिनेश ची editing पण छान आहे. सुंदर ki pi tup👍
