Islam prohibited the DOGs to have in home, otherwise in certain conditions, BUT killing DOGS or any other animal is HARAM, and it's considered the Kabira Sin. Don't hurt any living being, Almighty Allah have created everything with a great purpose

Everything is good, except getting napaak from coming in contact with dog's saliva. The dog itself is not napaak, so one can touch it, pet it, but avoid their saliva which is impure. The dog's sweat is also impure. So if you're okay being impure by regularly touching their saliva, that's your wish. But, in my opinion one can be kind and take care of dogs, without touching their saliva, and train them to maintain a boundary.
Read Surah Ma'idah Verse 4 carefully. Then take some time alone and ponder.

@@ansar68pk In matters of deen, reaching to a conclusion (especially obtaining rulings, do's and dont's, haram and halal rulings), is a very serious thing. We cannot make conclusions based on our own understanding, especially from translations of the Holy Quran.
We rely on the works tafsir, the deeper meanings of the Quranic verses, what Allah actually intended, and then we follow the conclusions and rulings made by previous Muhaddith, Imam and Mujtahids who based their conclusions on the tafseer of the Prophet's companions and the tabieen.
Interestingly, if you look at all the misguided sects in Islam, the root cause is that they all make their own conclusions from the Quran and Sunnah, and did not follow its true intended meaning, therefore they were misguided.
The first ever sect, the Khawarij were guilty of the same thing. They used Quranic verses to reach to the conclusion that Syeddina Ali may Allah be please with him, was a mushrik. They said: it is in the Quran: that there is no haakim (ruler) other than Allah, so why do we accept your rule (khilafah).
Hazrat Ali famously said: Kalimatu Haqqin, Yureeda bihal-Baatil Meaning: Your words are true (QUran), but your conclusion from it false.
So although you say: I simply pointed you to the only true source... your conclusion is not accurate, and we are advised not to make our own conclusions but to follow the conclusions that were from the learned of the ummah, and whose conclusions were accepted by all past generations (ijmaa/concensus)
