Speedy and energetic page turning for those who get stressed watching slow page turning videos.
Nothing really useful is being done in this video. 🙂 I'm just playing out scenarios in which fast page turning is necessary, for instance when you quickly want to look up an article or when you're counting pages to make sure they're all there.
From 20:30 onwards, you'll hear consistently quick page flipping.
Other ASMR triggers in this video:

- shuffling paper
- paper crinkles (some pages are water-damaged)

- writing (ballpoint pen)
- some page squeezing
There is some lip licking now and then, but it's hardly noticeable.

Something a bit different today: an ASMR fast page turning video! I hope you're up for it. 🙃
The inspiration behind this video comes from a viewer who told me that because of their ADD, they can focus on tasks better when listening to fast rather than to slow page turning which just stresses them out.
I never thought about it that way and have thus far stayed away from creating fast page turning videos 'cause I tend to enjoy slow page turning more, which is rather selfish when I think about it. Sorry about that.

Hi Kat! Hmmmmm...I never thought about fast page turning as relaxing for someone with ADD either. I guess maybe all the chaos helps their brain focus better, like you said. Doesn't really work for me though. I'll watch it because I'm curious and I know your videos are always so well done. But with all the rapid arm and hand movements, maybe I'll need to take a gravol first. Just kidding 🙂. Take care!
As someone who has a short attention span (i wouldn't say i have ADD yet, since im not diagnosed), sometimes it is frustrating on watching the pages got so slow in page turning, but nothing like a 10 second skip couldnt fix! But i appreciate that you also tried fast-pace for those who like it Kat! That's very thoughtful of you

I feel like paper sorting and searching is such a good trigger because it feels more natural... like someone is working intently next to me and in real life that ALWAYS nearly knocked me out at work, school, and in libraries, lol. Fantastic job, as always!

Isn't it weird how the sound of paper can totally relax ASMRs to almost comatose state then trying to explain it to someone who's never heard of asmr and thinks ur very strange lol
Hahaha, sometimes I intentionally went to the library, where people were reading newspapers and magazines at the reader's table. I looked cross-eyed from almost being knocked out. I look back nostalgically on the days without cell phones; trains and waiting rooms full of books and magazines.
Right on, I feel the exact same way. Always love when people come with a stack of papers to my desk at work because I'm about to feel so relaxed haha
That first set of pages and 20:30..? Oh my word. A whole video of just that. Wow. Those are some awesome sounding papers.

The varying fast paper sounds are really good. Fast and natural movements. I don't usually do fast pace, but this is quite nice. And it's very thoughtful of you trying different things for your viewers Kat

A bit of a change of pace every now and then is a good thing! This was my first dive into fast paced ASMR and I must say I like it! Keeps me focused and not distracted by other things. You need to do another video using that first set of papers again. Searching and doing stuff like you did at the end of the video. It’s really unique.
That’s it, it’s all about making it seem natural. Like she is actually looking for pages she needs. When it’s just the same noise going forward and back it just doesn’t work.
