I Love Akai Products. I have the 1st MPC TOUCH and till this day itâs hasnât fail me. Today you show me so much. I couldnât see exactly what options you were using on the MPC, except that you use the Yamaha as plug-in. Not like a plug-in per say but you know what I mean. Your work flow is đ żïžđđ. nice just had realized the modx on your previous video.
Not sure if I got the workflow right, this is what I think it was:
-MODX set up in multi mode one part per midi channel
-recording midi (not audio), from the MODX into a midi track on the MPC
-adding a new sound on the next part of the MODX, and setting up a new midi track on the MPC with next midi channel.
-repeat previous step till getting the melody
-add drums on the MPC
-transposing midi on MPC
-record wach track one by one on the computer?

Yes they are tuned to key of c. But I Tuned them in MPC
Might be a dumb question, but is the âentireâ software in the mpc61? Is basically the live the one with keys? Thatâs so insane to me if itâs fully functional like that.

Got the micro freak and the asm hydrasynth from zzounds but the hydrasynth was lost for about a week now threw FedEx so im going threw the whole investigation process

Bolo how did you sequence on the modx and the mpc. For me the modx is kinda complicated.
Very complicated!!!you have to go to were it say category, press Initialize, go to the last option General Midi. You should be str8 from there just turn off keyboard control

I think he plugs into midi out from montage / modx7 to other keyboard.
Yea Bolo make a video on how to sequence with the modx tracking each channel and switching the sounds and using the mpcx or key as the sequencer. The modx isnât like using a Roland

The only thing i see thats advantageous is the use of pad buttons for drums. I donât think it gets any more efficient than that

I have a video but itâs old.. but I linked keyboard to MPC via usb midi. The sounds are being routed from keyboard into MPC. From there the MPC pretty much controls everything from there

It really donât, itâs with affirm and they do do a credit check if I remember correctly
