Tell you something. A lot of us turn out noses up at food like this but i bet you its s damn sight more healthier than A LOT of what us westerners eat on a daily basis. This is very much a fresh nutrient packed meal.
The biggest thing that makes me so happy is how much they respect the beast that has given them nourishment and it’s the saying nose to tail not one part of it is wasted, they’ve been doing this for decades and only in the last 15 years chefs are learning to respect the beast and utilise the whole beast, tripe is my favourite yummy but 😢 i have to order it and any offal at least a week in advance 😢
People in the west, especially Americans only eat processed food. Nothing is fresh or made from scratch.

I live in America. We have plenty of spots that swrve stomach here in my city. It is delicious. Doesnt always look the most appealing but taste is good. Similar to other stuff like tonge or even liver. Id say it comes down more to how it's made for me
Around the world there are a lot of meals with the stomach of animals. In Poland for example well known is a soup called Flaki (it literally means intestines). It tastes really delicious. I can even cook it from scrach with stomach pieces from the butchers store. But I have never seen the whole stomach of a beef before.

О, требуха. В детстве бабушка варила в скороварке. Только не соскребала эти махрушки.
Варить приходилось долго, а потом нарезали небольшими кусочками и ели с заправкой из хрена. Очень вкусно, даже в холодном виде
Если ее хлрошо помыть и не скрести,она вкуснее,я скребла,а потом у соседей попробывала ,очень вкусно
А я люблю. Если правильно приготовить, то очень даже вкусно. Мы столько всего не кидали, конечно, бабушка с картохой тушила элементарно

Во всем Мире едят колбасу, мясо наполняют в кишку натуральную. В желудке, в отличие от кишек находится еда( трава, сено), которую скушало животное....а вот в кишках находится переработанный продукт, то бишь гав-о... и ни кому плохо не становится. Потроха - очень полезная еда.

I had no idea that the cow's intestine is that big. The stink is lost when you thoroughly wash it. It really depends on the manner of cooking. But the taste is really good once you get the hang of it

Bangladeshi clean it more until all black stuff gone. Then boil and cut in tiny thin trips and cook it with lots of spices and eat with rice. Like dry spicy stir fry.
