- Providence Canyon State Park, located in Lumpkin, Georgia is definitely the most scenic Georgia State Park that we have ever visited! Providence Canyon has been on our list of must-see's for a long time and it absolutely did not disappoint! Since there is no RV camping at Providence Canyon State Park, we decided to give a nearby COE campground a try. Bluff Creek campground is about 30 minutes from Providence Canyon (aka Georgia's Little Grand Canyon) so it was the perfect spot to spend a few nights. If you'd like to be a bit closer, Florence Marina State Park is another Georgia state park about 10 minutes from Providence Canyon. We hope you enjoy this video...it really does no justice to the beauty of Providence Canyon! We would highly recommend seeing these views in person!

Oh wow! My wife and I lived across the river from there in Alabama. When we dated in the late 80s she was a senior in high school, and she skipped school one day and we went exploring in that canyon. Her grandparents lived not far from there in Georgetown. This brings back lots of memories. Headed back to South Dakota anytime soon?
Great story! Thank you for sharing! We are more than ready to head back to South Dakota. We are waiting for Dylan’s braces to come off, hopefully next summer.
