Justin's style may not be popular with everyone, but you can't deny that it is clever. He uses distance and time to frustrate his opponents. Once you get frustrated, you begin making more mistakes. He understands the Tournament mindset, people are already under enough mental pressure just being in the seat.With Justin, It's a battle of patience against the clock. It has nothing to do with being a 'chicken'. If you can't come up with an answer, that's your problem. Menat is not invincible.
Why are people so hurt over his playstyle lol he gets the same treatment that Hbox gets in the melee community. If he has a higher chance of winning using a playstyle that puts the game at his pace, why in the world would he not if it yields him success?
The worst part is HBox wastes like 8 minutes a game stalling if he does, compared to 1.5 minutes this still goes so much faster. This is coming from a melee player used the the HBox stall
I play Melee competitively and using hbox stall really upped my win rate significantly. Melee is really just stalling over all. All the top players do it.

I fuckin love Justin Wong. The flashy, rushdown style might be a crowd pleaser but the defensive, clock watching style is masterful.
Justin getting Floyd treatment, saying he's boring and too defensive but those fans not seeing the actual skill in his game plan.

@@AlexCole272 Dude, he is one of the most famous duckers in boxing history, he ducked Cotton, he ducked Margarito he ducked Paquiao, in a lot of his fights he waited until the top fighters that everyone wanted to fight him got destroyed by another one and he picked the remains or he simply waited until his prime passed, he also only likes to fight in las Vegas because the judges are on his side.
Legends like Julio Cesar Chavez and George Foreman has called him out time and time again he is one of the greatest defensive boxers but that doesn´t give the right to talk like that about legends, even more when he is a know name already, a young boxer trying to hype himself up i can understand that, a veteran trying to talk about how great he is when his career is there to talk for itself its just tasteless and inmature.
And another thing, why the richest boxer ever has to brag about how much money he has?
Him, coming from a rich dad who was a champion already has to brag about how much money he has when he has in front of him a lot of boxers that pull themselves together from poverty fighting all his way to the top.
You want to know why everyone hates Floyd, because he is the rich kid in a sport movie, he is talented and his father makes sure to give him the best that he can buy to make him suceed but thats not enought for him he will brag about how great he is and how much money he has to the more poor team, he will taunt endlessly and when at least the other team rise to the occasion and makes a credible treath to him, he will just ran away, he will complain about the field, the pay the opponent to give himself a excuse to not face competition.
Thats why everyone hates him.

Everybody in here that said this was boring have 0 idea or understanding on why he played the strategy. For one Justin isn’t the only one playing slow. He isn’t just gonna go in for the fact that his neutral can hit from a distance. Problem X kept waiting for openings which is what he should. They both played the slow approach just Justin was better at it. Like they said in the beginning Justin said he wouldn’t throw many orbs out because of the scissor kick. That’s a guarantee punish for bison on that move. Justin made plenty of forward advancing moves along with consistently hitting buttons. Problem X was forced in the end every time to make forward advancing moves because he waited to long to make a challenge.Open your eyes that’s Why you guys are where your at and he was there.
I know why. Even if I didn't, I can read this post and understand why.

The problem is Justin only got hit once out of 15 scissor kicks. And problem x also block 14 out of 15 books...
So both play defend most of the game but Justin stay away after hit, problem x aim for aggression after poke. That’s the difference.
If I was in place of ProblemX I would rage quit. But in the end, Wong had a clever win strategy. He deserves the win

Turtles, but he's just to much on another lvl. Its how I play with charge characters. People say the same shit about camping, yet camping get you kills n wins. Camping is a very real world move as a sniper or an infantry. Your not running around all day trying. To kills shit. Your on one knee scoping out your situation so you die less easier. Do what makes you win.

It's easy to say a fight like this is boring, but the skill it takes to pull it off is pretty incredible. Justin is basically going into fights betting that his opponent can't get in on him to do enough damage. And all the while his opponent knows that if they do get in on Justin then it's going to give him his V-Trigger and then they're going to have to make sure to stop that or else he's going to take 30% of your life off. So I think there's a lot of entertainment just in seeing if anyone can breakthrough his guard or if he breaks them by making them so frustrated that they start making constant by desperately trying to get in.
