One of my favorites for sure off the Born To Run album. Here is my acoustic take on Backstreets by Bruce Springsteen.
This one goes out to the guys from Clifton, NJ. You know who you are.... cardboard boxes, cargo van, Garden State Parkway and one super loud, annoying horn!
Be sure to check out the other Springsteen lessons I have on my channel!

I lost my cousin and a second kind of big brother to me recently, he met Bruce at Providence College in the early seventies. The band slept in his dorm, and he told me all about them, and we became huge fans. I will be at his "celebration of life" soon, and there will be bands. Since I play guitar, I may be asked to play something. I have my own version of Backstreets, but it is spare and unfinished. You have closed the deal with this excellent tutorial, I can't thank you enough. Backstreets forever. You're awsome.

Thanks for the kind words and checking the video out. My condolences to your loss as well. I hope this video can help you map out the song. I basically took it and ran with it. The only major change I think I made was the walk up just before the solo. I think I just hung on the B chord.

Another great lesson. Personally, I like to see your strumming and picking in your videos. Would it be possible to zoom out just a tad in these lessons.

I can try to get that. I'm still trying to find that balance of close up but able to see both hands. I think once I invest in a better/second camera I can find that middle ground. For now I'm just using a Galaxy phone to get my vids done. Any recommendation on an affordable camera that is a step up? Thanks bro!

@@sixstringfun Thanks and sorry for criticising, you do some great lessons. I was hoping that you could just pull back a little because your strumming hand was only just out of shot. Filming on phones is never easy and the cost of cameras is a lot these days. I am looking for a better camera for my videos because I don’t have a flip out screen. I have to take a still image and then recompose and it is fiddly at best.
When I looked at the cost, I had to have a rethink.
With regards to cameras, I would go for a flip out screen as my number one must have, otherwise something that fits your budget. That said, your phone is fine and most people would probably prefer to focus on your fretting hand, so it might be best to ignore me.
I would not invest in too much gear until you are getting some revenue from your channel, unless you want to of course. I know that I am holding back on a number of things purely down to the cost.

Late night talk show hosts have shorter monologues. You said you were 'jumping straight in' 3 times within the first three minutes. That's the least jumping straight in ever.
    Thorough tutorial nevertheless. Thx
