  • Turn up your speakers! In this video we take a closeup look at two very old Boeing 767s departing from Manchester Airport - one with GE CF6 engines and the other with PW 4060s! 😁
With the Boeing 767 becoming increasingly hard to find, I was really pleased to catch two departing in one morning last week at Manchester Airport (MAN/EGCC). The first from United Airlines, a 27.6 year old (Yes that is right, over 27 years old!) Boeing 767-322ER wearing the new livery - I must say I really like what UAL have done with this new scheme, let me know your thoughts down below. 💭 This 767 is fitted with 2 Pratt & Whitney PW4060 engines. Next up was a relatively younger 21.1 year old Boeing 767-304ER of TUI Airways. This particular 767 is fitted with 2 General Electric CF6 engines. Do you notice any differences in the sound of these two old birds? Comment your favourite in the comments section! 😀

Nice shooting! I remember N648UA when she was delivered in the classic '70's scheme - This is the FIFTH different UA livery she has been in!

PW all the way! Thirsty but reliable engines. The CF6 is more efficient but has a history of uncontained fan disk failures 👎 Great footage! 👍
