Honestly this sword has the best sounds of Kamen Rider Saber and Kamen Rider Saber is a series already filled with excellent sounds, so you know that this has excellent sounds!
Also one alternate translation for the part of the 1 book transformation where it says 'noble power,flame of courage' is noble power, bless these courageous flames which I like more because it shows that they are upgrading his flames to have a stronger power infused into them.
I almost skipped out on this; so glad I decided to get final sword. It’s not a full full reader, but all the things it can do makes up for it ; so many awesome sounds
The one book henshin alone makes this worth it, but then you get four more on top, a whole load of finishers using the driver, a customizable attack, three more finishers outside the driver, and a voice mode complete with abbreviated henshins. This sword is truly rad.
just a slight difference whenever you use a finisher with two or more books. it'll say "Sei-Ba", with a deliberate pause, for two books, and "Sei-Saber" with three.
One thing that I never noticed until this review is that the swords in Kamen Rider Saber all have one 'sharp' side which is the usual with most swords in real life. Its a cool detail that others wouldn't think much about(which is one reason why I love Kamen Rider so much; they always have little details that make things accurate and make the worlds they create seem a little bit more real).
I agree with tango the jingles in the series are all awesome and I love that they gave this its own bad ass song it’s like here is the legend beware….. CANT WAIT FOR WHAT THE NEWXT RIDERS WILL BE
When you said sparkly flecks, it reminded me of when Emgames was active and you played Transformers Fall of Cybertron! I haven't heard that in so long and it made me feel nostalgic.🤗🥺
I do personally wish that they made forms for all his books with the Xross Saber. Especially since Primitive Dragon came back in the finale. I did kinda hope they WOULD use Elemental Dragon...but oh well. I do actually like Xross Saber, especially when I learned that the suit(s) were hand painted.
Only thing I wished they did was have Kyomu appear in some hidden form since that's pretty much why it's not a main power in the Cross Saber. Either on the sun or on the blue part seen when you raise the sun to help show it's hidden in a way. But very nice sword here! Hoping Saber might get a new book to go with the sword also honestly.
Actually, it's kinda _always_ being used. Kyomu's power is used as a limiter that refurbishes any excess power from the sword whenever it does something, allowing it to be reapplied later. And this is very much necessary, as if it didn't do this, Touma would be affecting things on a galactic scale without even intending to do so.
I was not expecting this sword to be as big as it was. I honestly enjoy it a ton and I love the combos and sounds you can do with this. Definitely worth it!!

That legend rider combination mentioning the 50th anniversary make me think it will apear in that new super sentai, kamen rider crossover movie (probably one book to represent each section of the franchise showa, heisei and reiwa)
Man talk about an awesome sword that has Saber's final forms! For those who are wondering what the wonder language on the sword says it is the names of the planets in our solar system(no sun though although the guard can be taken as being a sun) befitting its space motif.
I think that Xross Saber, as a form, is essentialy a tribute to the early Showa-era Riders' upgraded forms, which were both slightly recolored & permanent.
Long winded but one of the best final form weapons EVER. Has so many things going on, can theoretically use all the power ups, and just look cool. I have mixed feelings about Saber's final form just being recolors of his past forms BUT I love that there is just so much potential with this. Very cool. Thanks for the review.
If you wanna answer this, what’s your favorite thing about Saber’s final form, or the sword “Haouken Xross Saber” itself, or just Xross Saber in general. My favorite thing is that there’s lots of finishing attacks in the sword itself, and the suit, while I wasn’t a fan of at first, it grew on me, and I think it’s pretty cool now! Edit: I can’t believe I forgot to mention my other favorite thing about it, that being the many transformation jingles it has. I love how long they are, and how much of a bop they are!

I've known this from the wiki anyway but, Crimson saber isn't really exclusive to Crimson Dragon form but it functions as the 3 random book wonder rider form in the typical Seiken Blade, so Fantastic Lion, Golden Alangina or any 3 random non legend boom activates Crimson Saber. Main 3 riders' book is pretty much the only unique form sound for the Xross Saber Blade
My only question here is whether or not Emgo will review the last two series seiken, namely Noroshi and Kaiji (not counting Kyomu much, that's a movie-debut sword imo)

@@emgo316 Gotta say I think the best parts are the BGMs (there's like 12 songs total and there's a separate button for it, sound effects, and dialogue) and the die-cast metal knife. Also can confirm the CSM Genesis Core takes DX Energy Seeds. The CSM core won't fit in the DX Genesis driver and the DX core won't fit on the CSM Sengoku. The box is absurdly huge. I'm much more seriously considering getting one of the CSM seed sets now.
It remembers the order of scans. You can skip Rekka and Nagare then go straight to Ikazuchi, scan it, skip Gekido and go straight to Hayate, scan it, go back to Rekka, scan it, skip Kurayami and Saikou then go straight to Noroshi, scan it, and the sword will remember which Seiken you've scanned.

Technically yes, there is a notch by the emblem which is pushed when slotted in the driver so hypothetically you can just hold down that notch and place the books on the sword then release the notch to make the henshin sound. But it’s much simpler to just use the driver and it’s not a reverse kurayami because it still scans the book but in a different way

I love the sword. Hate the form. Still think it's weird that the sword has no wonder ridebook connected with it but meh.... I just wanna see Saber use the other Big Books since they have their own sounds

Not a fan of the form and the new sword... I find it a little bit a step back... Blades have forms who is cooler and cooler like the lion Senki the lion daisenki and then the Hyoujuu Senki.. Saber as cool forms had the dragonic knight then nothing much more
Literally everything about this form is awesome... _except_ the design. Like, the powers are cool, the sword is cool, the way that it can be modified with various books is cool... but the form's design is literally just a sparkly blue repaint of Saber's base form with a random yellow hand, and the helmet doesn't even change when using the modified forms.
I really like this Sword for a number of reasons. What impresses me the most is that the jingle is longer than Grand Zi-O's!

I’m a bit disappointed that the lack of sounds means we won’t get an upgraded form of draconic knight or emotional dragon.

All three of them are premium bandai products and kyomu also made an appearance in the series

I love the sword. Hate the form. Still think it's weird that the sword has no wonder ridebook connected with it but meh.... I just wanna see Saber use the other Big Books since they have their own sounds

Not a fan of the form and the new sword... I find it a little bit a step back... Blades have forms who is cooler and cooler like the lion Senki the lion daisenki and then the Hyoujuu Senki.. Saber as cool forms had the dragonic knight then nothing much more

Literally everything about this form is awesome... _except_ the design. Like, the powers are cool, the sword is cool, the way that it can be modified with various books is cool... but the form's design is literally just a sparkly blue repaint of Saber's base form with a random yellow hand, and the helmet doesn't even change when using the modified forms.
