  • This video will show you how to cook Ginisang Monggo with Pata ng Baboy or in English, it is Sauteed Mung Beans with Pork Hocks. Monggo or Mung Beans are small and green in color beans that belong to the legume family. This Pinoy recipe is very nutritious as both the meat, monggo and other key ingredients in this demo video are all rich in protein and good source of other nutrients our body needs daily.     FUN FACTS :
    The Monggog/Mung beans is mainly cultivated in East and Southeast Asia and the subcontinent of India. These beans are one of the best source of plant based protein and other key nutrients.
    Ingredients:
    Cooking the Pork Hocks:
    1-½ lb. pork hocks,
    1 medium-sized onion, quartered
    2 tbsp. fish sauce (patis) or salt
    Water for soup
    Other Ingredients:
    1 cup Mung (Monggo) beans
    1 medium-sized onion, chopped
    4 cloves of garlic, minced
    2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
    1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced (not shown, optional)
    1 tbsp. of fish sauce (add more if desired) or salt
    6 jumbo sized shrimp, cut into smaller pieces (optional)
    Spinach, moringa (malunggay), or other leafy vegetables

    Ang monggo kase ay may katamtaman timpla kase on the time na yan nag sisibo kaya kayo walng pipigil sa inyo na ganyang timpla ang sarap po ng luto nyo nagustohan ko i ni like ko po , aq po kase dati magluto malasa rn, kaya jn napo ako marunong magluto sa inyo salamat po sa pag sher ng video mo po😁😁🤩🤩😀

    Minsan, instead of karne ng baboy, gumagamit po ako ng chicharon although hindi nga lang po sya healthy...hehe

    Parang hilaw ang baboy? I think sa video hindi nilaga ng matagal ang pata. Yung shrimp is hindi nilalaga ng matagal po. This is just my own opinion and observation.
