    Remember working with two guys in early 200X who used to work for some company that dealt with infra tech.
    They told me that even then they could tweak image to peel away light/summer cloths. Not sure if final image would be in heat vision or not.

    This was actually publicized years ago when the handheld video recorder was still a thing. This caused quite a stir, so much so that the video recorder makers actually disabled the infrared function when enough ambient light is detected. Also I think in many sports, athletes don’t wear underwear underneath.

    In Olympic competition, a Hot beav could be relavent just knowing who’s on the rag. But that would be the far infrared.

    Sony used to sell a camcorder in 2000s with night vision that can see though thin clothes.

    Well, my military-grade thermal scope can do a thing or two of that kind. But I always thought that it's stupid to use pricey equipment for that kind of stuff.

    Pretty cool tech but is not deep fake and AI far enough along that this wont matter? I will be disappointed if we don't have next day torrents of all Olympic events with the athletes competing nude.

    Infrared cameras work at short distance, so what is the point? To hide something to the judges and other competitors?

    • @williejohnson5172
      @williejohnson5172 Před měsícem

      They have already instituted this technology on the street. Private security firms and maybe police use this to spy on people to see if they are carrying weapons or drugs or electronics under their clothes. Why do you think they came up with this bogus 6 feet social distancing during the pandemic? I laugh at people wearing masks and hoodies thinking their faces are being hidden. Of course I'm a crackpot spouting conspiracy theories.

    • @TheSwayzeTrain
      @TheSwayzeTrain Před měsícem

      That would depend on the camera. IR cameras can work at ranges of 10+ Km. I am unsure at what range is required for the photography of underwear fetish fans.

    it should be banned. The basic thing in Olympic is fairness. You can't just hide something(whatever it is) from the competition

    • @wsi1917
      @wsi1917 Před měsícem

      Fairness? You means athletes from all over the world should expose their sexual organ to Olympic organizers equally? Those details will be kept in records without permission for organizers usage.
      If organizers doubt about any hiding, they can request search or test but not openly perform privacy intrusion to all athletes and attendees.
