I love the fact that Geralt starts out being so against even meeting Ciri, but then ends up delivering the line: "If you have any doubt in your mind that she is safe here - Give her to me. I will take her, protect her, and bring her back safe".
That's when Geralt stops thinking about what he wants, and starts making it all about what she needs

Geralt never actually thought for himself.
When his friend Jaskier was possessed by the jin, he did everything to save him and so he met Yennefer and to save her, he again wished something without thinking about himself.
In my opinion, he is a real alpha man with a kind, generous and selfless heart. Even at the beginning, when he was told to kill the princess, he had a good relationship with the blond girl who showed him the way to the aldermans house. So you could see that he likes children and sees his role in protecting. Maybe that's why, he wanted a child from Yennefer.
His quiet inturned and action taking nature is also attractive and charming.
A lot of fans are now signing a petition to have the crappy showrunners removed and that's probably why Henry is no more. They think they can just do whatever with a story we deeply love, they think they can milk us for money by replacing the one we like, they don't give a damn about the wishes and feelings of their own fans, but in the end they won't collide with nothing but hatred for what they've done... Sometimes I forget that she is a child surprise, because she looks so much like him and is a Witcher. I’m exited to see the family reunited (Geralt, Yen and Ciri)😩😩❤️

@@luna8327 A child from the Law of Surprise, which Geralt enacted when Emhyr asked what Geralt would like as a reward.
She looks more like Pavetta than Emhyr and there is a reason for that.
Asiya Polad a child surprise is one of the consequences of the law of surprise. When you call the law of surprise you can get anything, as an example: Geralt got Ciri because Emhyr didn’t know that Parvetta was pregnant. Did I explain well?

Law of surprise means if you save someone's life, then he/she can offer you law surprise, which means you can visit that person anytime without informing( surprise) and that person has to give whatever new they have after the law of surprise, example(child). Geralt enacted the law of surprise, just after that Emhyr and pavetta came to know that she is pregnant, so the child is the first new thing in their life. Therefore by law of surprise, the child belongs to Geralt, now both are linked to each other's destiny. In the witcher universe, the law of surprise and destiny is a big deal, you can't run from destiny otherwise it will unleash true calamity.
Jaskier's either gonna end up bein' a Co-Dad with Geralt, or he's gonna end up bein' that kind of Cool Uncle Character to Ciri, that she'll go to if she wants to do something that Geralt doesn't like

You know how there is always that one couple you ship because they some kind chemistry and you want them to hook up? Ciri and Geralt have chemistry/bond too and it is not sexual at all but more of a protector, father like bond. Very strong bond too. Here is a funny thing, they really only met ONCE. Георган Будько actually the attack of the castle does seem to be going on at the same time, Geralt mentions seeing smoke that way and planning to go there. The last episode is where all the timelines finally converge.

Ciri and Geralt are doomed to remain together for the rest of their lives. I'm not sure why, but different interpretations of fate make it sound like something that lasts forever, no matter what the scenario is. Despite the fact that they are not related or share the same blood, I also shipped them for no reason. Geralt is her guardian, but the way he refers to her as his, as well as the fact that he conveyed to Yennefe that her girl is something more, has left me it sort felt in a romantic way even though that way he said it sounded like it. 🤣😳🤨
