A couple things I think people stumbling on this video should know:
-Animation cancelling: You can dodge roll out of any attack animation, and attack to cancel the roll animation. If you time your roll to cancel the attack animation after damage is dealt, then attack immediately before the roll finishes, you can chain attacks with slower weapons much faster. It makes hammers far easier to use, though it takes some practice to control. If timed right, it also freezes your place in a combo, so the final attack of the gauntlets that has increased range and damage can be repeated rapid-fire to devastating effect. Combined with a Godly weapon and a damage-boosting fleece, you can take down most multi-cycle bosses before they have a chance to flee.
-Invincibility: There are several effects that grant you temporary invulnerability that can be used to clear entire rooms or even bosses without taking a single hit, trivializing the no-damage achievements. The divine guardian curse grants two seconds of invincibility, the shamura's skull and blessed laplace's dice grant 8 and 10 seconds respectively (though the latter is a 50% chance and single use), and the godly moment tarot card grants a couple seconds when entering a new room. These can be combined and chained as needed to get through even the final boss without a moment of vulnerability, allowing you to continue attacking and thus generating fervor and charging your relic faster to allow for even more invulnerability time.
These things combined can trivialize combat and so not everyone will want to use all of these mechanics, but I know some people are here more for the cult management side of the game and knowing these things can enhance their enjoyment of it by making it easier to get through the harder sections.

In the section 45:10 “Defeat a Boss Without Taking Damage,” is it just the boss fight where I cannot take damage, or do I have to complete the entire arena run without taking damage?
You have to avoid taking damage once you enter the boss fight. You can be injured as you fight your way to the boss through the arena, but once the boss fight begins, you have to avoid damage if you want the extra rewards and the trophy/achievement.

They're only more expensive for a few days and then they go back to regular price

@@Starcat5 I attacked his wife not realizing he was a vendor, and then ran away when I couldn't beat them (I was still early game).. it was expensive for a few days; but they're regular price now.

AYE, i thought i was unique. but i also do the Red Follower sacrifice method. If a follower has all green or +15% level up, i make them white like the lamb. I recently saw that u can have poop follower (lol). So now i can make shit followers *_literal_* shit lmao
I was using the Pig follower for the job at first. However, after noticing the Fluffy Boar variant and learning HOW to unlock Mr. Swirl, I now rush to unlock that form. And now with the recently added ability to re-indoctrinate followers, I have the ability to change my mind if a follower's traits become redundant due to Doctrines or said "bad" follower turns out to have a Demon Form I need.
im confused about the dlc "being a grindathon". looking at the steam page all the dlc just seems to be new follower forms and decorations?
It refers to stuff that is now free with the game. It isn’t marketed as DLC anymore, as it was added as free updates into the game. Specifically called, “Relics of the Old Faith,” “Sins of the Flesh” and “Unholy Alliance.” If I were remaking the video today, I would say that the later end of “Relics of the Old Faith” is a grind.

Which round? It is a boss rush, with TWHW having a second form. The best I can do is point out for the second form, aim for the eyes, and the followers hanging around the arena cry ammo for your Curses.

I do. I have a slew of speech impediments, a condition called "Cluttering." It has similar roots to a stammer. As well as other speaking problems like saying words with "R" in them. For most of my videos, I edit out the worst parts and re-record, but I was struggling so much with this video that I kept the lacklustre edits rather than re-re-re-record.
