Thanks for sharing, much appreciated
Thanks for the video
great video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing bro
Not related to this specific video, but do you have a video on How to track events ( and conversiones later ) on Tag Manager on content inside an IFRAME? In this case the content is outside of the website, for example: a customer Chat service from a 3rd party provider.
how did you make the ajax? i cannot find the video of that on your channel
Question: by sending the variable to the data layer: where can I find that information in Google ads? On reports ?
I follow your tips, and saw the conversions but my conversion value resists 0, did I miss any setup?
Why do we need to create a user provided data variable when the variable we need already exists (purchase email for example)? We're just making a variable of a variable no? Or does this have to do with hashing? Thanks!
Hi Benjamin, thanks for the helpful videos! Is it possible to enable enhanced conversions in GTM and Google Ads if we are not using Google Ads Conversion tagging Tags in GTM but only sending conversion data from GTM to GA4 from which we are then importing conversions to Google Ads using the Analytics/Ads linking?
Bro I have doubts on enhance tracking if a customer fills out the form can I get the information through google ads what I was done is I set up a button click but I can't properly get the conversation so can I get customer details through google ads
Thanks a lot for this video, really helpful, wanted to understand if we can setup an experiment as follows:
Test Campaign: Optimizing for goal A & B, in which B is the offline data being passed through enhanced conv.
Control Campaign: Optimizing for goal A only.
We want to run a search campaign and need to run for the same set of keywords, is there a way to set this up and divide the audience in way such that Test vs Control share is 80:20%?
how do I know google ads are receiving this data and using it for the improvement of tracking?
This is a good guide, but do you have a guide on how to find the "event" names for each data variable? How can we know exactly what needs to be entered?
Hi Ben, thanks for your video, very helpful as always. Now that this video is about a year old, have you adjusted your settings to use the new automated detection of user provided value (as a variable) in GTM?
I'd love to see some deeper dives on this and improve my understanding of how Google automates this.
Do you know if it's possible to use enhanced conversions with GA4 now? Last year they said it was on their roadmap, but I can't find any documentation.
No
Create the same tut with wordpress please
I'm so confused about this, according to the docs you need to give the customer data as a sha256 hash. (e-commerce).
I have the same question. The TOS for Google Tag Manager says you can't have any information available that would identify a user, but Google doesn't want you to send hashed information to them for Enhanced Conversions? If you learn anything more about this I'd love to know what you find out.
@@ht18751 Following this... I have the exact same doubt. Did you find a clear answer to this?
the docs show "email" or "sha256 email", not so clear
According to Google, "You can either send unhashed data, which Google will normalize and hash before the data reaches the servers, or normalized and hashed data. " So either way the data will get hashed.
@@wisdom-foundation thanks for your reply!
Hi, According to my tests, creating a variable "Purchase Email" than add it in variable "Google Ads | Form | User Provided Data | Transaction" cause a delay during tag firing. The Purchase Email will not push to "Conversion Tracking - Purchase" tag.
Just add the variable "ecommerce.customer_email" directly in to "Google Ads | Form | User Provided Data Transaction". Generally, I do not understand why to create ""Purchase Email" variable when there is "ecommerce.customer_email" variable.
I have the same question. Why make the user data variable to just reference another variable?
