No Sam Cane is top of the list. Followed by no Lomex, Frizell, or J Barrett.
Wrapped up by not having Caleb Clarke on the field.
Minor mention of handling errors or penalties.

What I loved to see is watching this game like I was watching the Heineken Cup final from earlier in the year Leinster v La Rochelle.
Leinster scored twice within the first 5 or 6 minutes, the first try was also around the first minute or so. Then La Rochelle stepped up and went on to win the game 27-26.
This felt a bit like that. ABs scored a try within the 2nd minute of the match and went on to lose the match 27-13 this time. It just seemed fascinating. As a Bok supporter I am a little nervous. I didn't think I would say this but I would prefer to play ABs on the final as opposed to France. Having said that, I am a Bok fan through-and-through but if for some super sad reason Springboks don't win this, I am then rooting for France. Their players are on another level. If by some coincidence France play Springboks in the final, it will be a fantastic match to watch.

ABs suffering from players not facing SA teams week in, week out. The pressure from SA, sharpened speed, accuracy of the AB attack and made kicking game better. Ever since the split AB rugby has declined at intl level.
SA, on the other hand, moved to a league that doesn't have the same attacking prowess, giving SA space to practice and develop attacking game.

@ciaranoconnor4027 What's pathetic is your knee-jerk reaction. Go back and read what I said. I didn't say SA teams were demolishing NH teams. All I said was that they (NH teams) don't have the same attacking prowess of NZ. Thus giving our players more opportunity to practice and better their attack. SA players are the stone on which NZ players sharpen their spear and refine their tactics. Wildcard alludes to this dynamic being true without spelling it out. When he talks about how in Super Rugby, kicking the ball is frowned upon, and teams try running from deep all the time. That's exactly how SA was able to maintain pressure at Twickenham, and that's exactly what we saw in this game. Bad habits from not playing SA teams. Even their lack of imagination when dealing with a strong defense is indicative of this fact.

New Zealand don't know how to play modern rugby. It's all kicking, defensive pressure and explosive attack from turnovers / loose ball. Also, the heat drained NZ. They were not prepared for it. Hope we will get more replays during the game. Production was horrible with time management (not stopping the clock in first half when ref says time off), scoreboard (0-7 with no conversion and same at the end with 29-13 instead of 27), no time for the yellow card and no replays of interesting things.
Ioane pass was clearly forward on the second try. So obvious that the French stop to play (not a good call from them but still). And a try was not allowed for France for a Penaud knock on but on the replay it seems to not touch the ball, looks like it was only the AB player, needed a bit a check their.
Overall French were feeling the home event pressure and AB did not exploit that enough in first half. Second half was not perfect but the French looks so confident^^

NZ started each half so strong. But lacked the legs or energy at the end of each half. I think the heat, the kicking, the injuries and the constant pressure from France really got to them. They just felt flat. They also lacked bench impact. The substitutes came on and looked the same or worse. The scrum was dominated by France. The maul infringements were continuing from the SA game, i was surprised France opted for kicks instead of line outs given how dominant they looked.
Well done to France. Great kicking and control. Also brilliant under the high ball. Played well despite injuries before and during the game. Going to be a tough team to beat this WC, especially with that crowd support. France look solid, and good enough to build momentum going into a QTR.

France used the same scoring technique as against the Australians, take every little point you can. By keeping the score board ticking over and having the opposition having to restart every so often, just plays into the psychology of the game. Also, with the heat (around 30c) it made sense to run the least as possible (hence the kicking game). The All Blacks chose to run a lot, but that just tired them. And so, in the last quarter when the French went up a gear, the All Blacks had not much left in the tank. The French did seem rather rattled in the first few minutes, but overall they orchestrated this win to perfection. It was the running game from their own 22 and getting nowhere that eventually cost the Kiwis the game.

Firstly, congrats France (the host nation) for the win. Since France played exceptionally well. As Ardie Savea said during the End match Post Interview ''Even though we have lost tonight, there is still a war to be won!''
The only player that played exceptionally well for my home country was player No.11 Mark Talea, as Mark scored the only 2 tries.
Bauden Barrett did some unnecessary kicks. Like when The All Blacks kick the high ball our pressure attackers were poor. Because when the French did their highball thier pressure attack to us, they had like 3 or 4 players all willing to pressure attack the All Blacks.
    The 1st half, I'll rank it a 7/10. But I'll rank the 2nd half a 5/10.

    1. Were the All Blacks, just poor, beaten up team when facing France or did they just run out of ideas hence their loss?

Even Savea was getting manhandled, and he's got enormous power, but he's too small as an eightman. He should be playing as openside towards the ball. The rest of their backrow is really missing a Kaino and Reid type player. Play Barret at blindside with with Frizzell at 8 when he's back from injury. In this game, only Scott Barrett crossed the gainline. Taukei'aho should also be starting... you gonna struggle in this RWC if you're getting bullied up front.

No the entire second half was ridiculous. Totally aimless kicking. It was working in the first half but france figured it out in the second. What I dont understand is if we are playing whitelock why not try atleast once for field position and a lineout in france's half. That second half was just unbelievable with the constant up and under and no other plan at all. IMO Beauden and Will Jordan should be droped for the next big game on this performance alone. Im fked if Know why Jordan didnt think he deserved the yellow was just constantly shaking his head about it. Dude's delusional or poorly coached. He was actually damn lucky he didnt get a red because he did it two or three times. (not that it would of made any difference because that game was done the moment he got the yellow).

I thought the game was a little scrappy. The kiwis looked very ordinary just hapless, no clear gameplan and a lot of kicking and funny enough they complain about the boks kicking game. I predicted that just 1 loss and they'll become flustered. Yhe 1 try was a forward pass. The scoreline could've also been 40 - 5 really. Im waiting for the breakdown😅😅

Yeah I dont see the point in him or whitelock if they insist on not playing for field position and lineouts. Might aswell play Dmac and Barrett fulltime if thats our gameplan. Ethan blackadder needs to be flown over to replace Cane and Dalton too but I know that'll never happen with this idiot Foster running this clown show. Ethan blackadder should of been our starting 7 since 2021.

The ABs are not familiar with the type of pressure that teams are able to exert on them. They're struggling to find ways to exit or setup their attack. They need to shore up their pack and concentrate on their way of playing. Best form of defense is ATTACK

The ABs did not have a very good exit plan and were playing in the wrong areas. They seemed to lack a Plan B when plan A didn't work. This was exposed against the Boks! To be honest, I was rooting for the ABs but they never played very well due to the pressure by France. Again, same thing the Boks did against them. Ramos is excellent from the left but can be a bit ropey on the right when kicking for poles. De Groot looked like he was boring in instead of scrumming straight. Great review mate!

De groot was boring in and he was jammed downwards and kept falling down. Good response by antonio
