You see there is a belief that there are both: spirit+soul immortal and resurrection of the dead bodies that go along quite well. Plus righteous go to new jerusalem and wicked to sheol(after Christ resurrection) where kept for judgement and all dead rise at the 2 coming or at the end of Millenium. And bodies are created for souls. Pretty common serious belief.

      Hello friend,
      Some Bible points to consider…
      • Abraham’s bosom is not heaven (Hebrews 11:8-10, 16).
      • People in hell can’t talk to those in heaven (Isaiah 65:17).
      • The dead are in their graves (Job 17:13; John 5:28, 29). The rich man was in bodily form, with eyes, a tongue, etc., yet we know that the body does not go to hell immediately at death. The body remains in the grave, as the Bible says. If you’d like to know more about what happens after death, visit www.truthaboutdeath.com/
      • People are rewarded at Christ’s second coming, not at death (Revelation 22:12).
      • The lost are punished in hell at the end of the world, not when they die (Matthew 13:40-42). Luke 16:31, the last verse of the story, contains a spiritual lesson, showing that the story is actually a parable. Parables cannot be taken literally. If we took parables literally, then we must believe that trees talk! (See this parable in Judges 9:8-15).

Hello friend, I realize it’s a difficult topic but it’s a must to take all the scriptures on the topic and compare them to get the right answer.
John 3:16 clearly states …”that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” It doesn’t say both groups get eternal life.
The Scripture is clear that God is just in all His ways. There will be a lake of fire at the end that will have eternal results but it will not burn for eternity. How would it possibly be just to burn someone for the ceaseless ages of eternity for a short life of sin?

Jesus is NOT God. I don't know why simply because Jesus stated he was brfore Abrahan and Abraham was glad to see his day means he was God. As Peter stated Jesus was preordained and in the foreknowledge of God. God spoke THROUGH the prophets in the former days but THROUGH [not as[] his son in these last days. God allowed Abraham a revelation of the coming Messiah! How is this any different than Peter, John and James seeing Jesus in his future glorified state on the Mt of Transfigeration and also talking with Moses and
Alijah?? Wouldn't Moses and Alijah still be in their graves? Didn't God himself bury Moses?? Also didn't God state that Jesus was crucified before the foundation of the World? Was Jesus/God crucified twice?. This is a very good video on this PARABLE, but please stop making Jesus God. Please!!

      Hello friend,
The Scripture is clear, Jesus, the Word is God.
      John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
      John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

How very sad that you have little understanding of scriptures and are lacking common sense, or you would know that someone on fire and in agony would merely ask for a drop of water from someone's finger. Seriously?! This ALONE proves this is a parable. But you go ahead and believe lies from theological illiterates if that makes you feel good! How sad.
