Thank you fooor appreciating🤗😍 Overview💕 Im a psychology major. Got inspired by a friend who ddnt quite feel like her mom loves her, but i noticed that her mom gives her so much gifts! Like really. So i thought to myself "if that isn't love, then what is it??" So I researched about it, then decided it to be my thesis so I could fully dive in😊 Majority of the respondent parents were in quality time, last is gifts. Self-sufficiency of children was found to be significantly associated with the words of affirmation of parents. Emotional stability and dominance were significantly related with having quality time with children. 😊

I recently went sober, and I'm like 77 days in, but I have to tell you how much more "Feely" I am. I almost cried when you read the words from your bf, and your reaction. I totally relate on being shy or embarrassed when being told how good I am or kind or nice...It's, like, I've trained myself to be cold-hearted to protect myself. It's really hard to unlearn that in order to be comfortable in vulnerability. I really appreciate you too.

I was struggling a lot spiritually and mentally yesterday, I’m at a place in my life where I feel I have a lot of important identities to figure out and make room for and I never seem to have the wisdom to know what I need to do (if that makes any sense!). This video has inspired me to do a few things for myself just to give myself a break. I think I’ll write myself some words of affirmation and do a few acts of service (clean my room) for future me :)

I love this video! Thank you Rowena, I was at a pretty difficult time in my life when I found you a few years ago. I had lost my dad, I'd been struggling with my health in a terrible work situation and suddenly the head of the household while living thousands of miles away from any family. I started doing qi gong, taking care of myself, which was huge because I had been self-harming for many years and was extremely self-depricating. Now I appreciate myself more, you taught me that it's important to take care of yourself in order to help others. I found myself looking for more purpose and enjoying life more, I was inspired to ditch my workplace for something better and I even got a raise and more freedom and praise, I feel much better about myself and much more purposeful. Every time you post, I feel like it's a message to remind me it's okay to be a little selfish and take care of myself. I just finished working the "summer break" in which I overworked and completely forgot about myself. Yesterday I was wrapping everything up, and today when I go online, your video on my feed reminded me to take care of myself now. :)
P.S. I'm very glad you have someone, he seems like a kind genuine person from that letter and someone as wonderful as you definitely deserves someone like that. :)

I truly love to watch Korean Drama's as well. I find they help me focus on one thing and if I am overwhelmed they shift my focus to one thing. I recommend watching Hospital Playlist, Reply 1988, Hello My Twenties they are all on Netflix and all have the realistic and relatable feels. If you want watch to more serious drama's I recommend Save Me, Extracurricular, and Mother (Korean). They are all masterpieces which will hook you and talk about very sensitive topics. Also sorry if this kind of long, I am not very good texting I prefer to talk to someone in person.
