Anything that can travel through potholes and rural India roads is termed as SUV these days. Well I cannot argue against it. As if you want to drive through katccha rural roads using a Verna, i20 or Honda city, good luck.
I feel both vehicles have their own benefits, punch comes with a better instrument console, its built on new ALFA platform, and has much better mileage than Nexon...where as Nexon offers more space, features and power.
I wish if Nexon would have looked like Punch(Boxy look) and had the colours available in Punch then people would not have thought of Sonet at all,look of Nexon is the only thing that can resist ppl from buying it.

Boxy look of punch is more attractive that rounded Nexon. Also backside of Punch gives complete look.

The only reason to choose Punch over Nexon will only be Price. I own Nexon and test drove Punch. Punch is no where closer to Nexon in ride quality.

Get seltos. Amazing car. Very refined at all rpm, good interior, sporty suspension and very torquey engine

Yes I have Nexon went to showroom to test drive punch for my friend, it is too much underpowered even compared to Nexon in city mode.

I own a Tata Punch, and trust me if you have a budget more than 7Lakh go for Nexon, try comparing Nexon XE with other variants of punch, you’ll feel the diffrence what Nexon has to offer. +space and luxury on the plus side.

@@nirajdeshmukh7379 No Doubt Punch is a nice car considering you are a first buyer or someone who drives inside city at decent speeds and has a small family.
Nexon offers Turbo engine from the base model(sports mode), more spacious and interiors are good compared to punch.
One thing i understood in whole car research process.
You can add everything in your car from aftermarket, except it’s engine and body size.
So make your decision accordingly!

Don't agree with your idea. In Nexon XE u will not get any features what you get in punch variants of same price. Only length wide height and turbo engine u get. No features even u will not get infotainment system in Nexon XE.

In punch you will feel very cool when AC on @ 24-25*. Rear AC have no effect that much. Yes the car might look stylish if Rear AC vents is provided. Agree with Other requirements u have mentioned

Can i buy tata petrol car plse suggest me as i doesn't frequently use car let say once a week or thrice a month. Current having alto since 15 years and drove only 35000 kms only. I want to confirm that if i take my tata car out after 10 days it will make any problem in starting.

No need of Rear AC vents. AC in punch is best in cooling even in 24-25*. You may prefer Rear AC vents for car looking stylish otherwise no impact.

How come punch boot in terms of numbers is bigger than nexon 🤔🤔🤔.It is clearly visible that nexon boot is more spacious
For punch, tata says the boot is upto 366 litres which mean it is calculated without considering the parcel tray, with parcel tray the boot is about 300 litres I think.
If you see it’s way more deep than nexon… basically the boot is just bigger in numbers. Nexon boot is more practical
I think it is according to the new rules where the boot capacity is calculated from floor to roof.. and during nexon times it was uptil parcel tray...

I also own a Nexon ..and I am happy with it...In himachal roads and off-road are the same ! And Nexon perfectly do its job !
The petrol engine lacks power. TATA should give punch a good diesel engine like Altroz. This will give the much needed "Punch" in performance with adequate fuel economy.
If Tata could give Nexon Platform a proper 4x4 system like Suzuki Gypsy Or Jimmy. It would kill create a unique Product segment of 'Compact 4x4 in India and would kill the thar.

@@beingblessed555 it's upon people's choice but according to me u should go for Nexon as I m driving it since 2 years and it has never disappointed me when I was in city it gave an average upto 24 km it's upon how u drive ur vehicle that's all my friend

Hi I liked your video, what I understand from my reading is that AMT punch misses on hill hold assist, crawl etc useful functions. One feature I admire about AMT Nexon is that even on steepest hill if you stop engine and than restart it won't go back rather crawl function will push it up...is that feature available in punch

@@LtMewS Honestly speaking, if you care about performance, then punch is not the car for you. The 1.2 NA is not ideal for that car.
I cannot suggest the nexon base model too because it lacks even the basic features. Please go for atleast a higher varient.
I asked this for my friend and he bought the car. Apart from the performance and fuel economy part, its a good car.
I have test drive punch manual, tiago manual and amt, altroz and nexon.
Nexon’s engine is much superior if we compare the performance. And feature wise nexon xm offers all the required features at decent price.
Punch obviously has NA petrol engine, so it performs as per that only. It has slight initial pickup but at later on it lacks power and thats clearly felt while driving.
Under power thing goes same for altroz NA petrol as well but its handling and stability is class apart.
Last but not the least, TATA TIAGO, this car is well balanced with right engine and body. You get very well pickup, stability and performance at every speed. Overall a best buy for the price given.
Among all of them I chose Tata Nexon XM variant since i am not a huge fan of features. Xm model provides pretty much all the features needed for good driving experience.

Nexon feel wider. Seat comfort, suspension and rear seat reclining all better in Nexon. I feel the seat cushion is little hard in Punch compared to Nexon.

@@prawinsanthanaraj3391 how much time it took to build up that speed, can you tell me. Even alto can do 140kmph. It's not about the top speed its how quick it accelerate.. that's where you get confident to overtake.
we have TVS XL and RR310 too..we can't expect XL to perform likeRR310..
Overtaking requires a lot of planning like we have to shift down one or two gears... Slightly difficult 😣

How does Hill Assist works in Punch?
Its present only in amt version
Nexon has bigger boot. Punch’s boot is not 366 litres, its 316 litres
There are two ways of measurements, in the brochure itself Tata has mentioned 316 as well as 366 with both types of measurements
@@MotorBeam True, however, in the video you have spoken about Nexon’s boot space to be 350 litres vs Punch’s 366 litres. This can confuse the viewers because it feels like Punch’s boot space is bigger than Nexon when practically Nexon has a bigger boot as its a bigger car overall. Also, if comparing numbers, it would be good to show the actual boot space by using the same bags for both the cars so that the viewers can understand the difference.

Try punch with 3 passengers in the car with some luggage in back
Should have no issues as altroz non turbo can handle 4 passengers and full luggage with ease.We own one and have done 17000 kilomtres in a year
