Bad Guy (Credit Card Machine Version)

- Bad Guy played by two credit card machines. I 3D-printed eyelashes for the googly eyes one of the credit card machines. The name of that machine is "Billie Eyelash" from now on.
For this video, I also changed the way I use the "receipt" paper in the card machines. Before I used paper rolls but in this video, I use paper loops. That removes the need to "reset" each credit card machine between takes, and so increases the scalability of the orchestra.

@@DeviceOrchestra idea for a further upgrade, print both sides of the receipt strip with different patterns , then put a twist in the band before taping, creating a mobius strip that changes pattern throughout the song

The paper loops in the machines brought to mind how ,in the 1980's, I would spam companies that sent me unsolicited faxes.
I would make a loop through the fax machine of what they sent me and reply to their number,leaving the loop cycling for an hour or so.

Did this in the 90s myself thanks to a text file I found haha. Only difference was a loop of all black printed paper so that the company would burn through toner. I believe the term for this was “black faxing”

When the phone call prices dropped in Europe it was neat to let the fax run all night to some poor office in Germany that hadn't updated their fax spam number database.

Haha, no, the printer (called Prints) has printed a lot of stuff for my recent videos. For example, the credit card machines stand on credit card machine stands I made about a year ago, But puns like this was one of the reasons why I bought Prints in the first place :D

man i love how you are bringing more and more musical detail into these covers. It was a huge step up when you started to include bends (which are on point by the way) and i dont know how long you have been doing that, but the phrasing and rhythmic variation is just chefs kiss. fricking credit card machines...

It does sound to me like the right one alternates Bb and D vs A and C#. But you're probably right about the clever synthesis; my guess is that it actually plays them in a fast arpeggio, so that our ear is tricked into believing they sound at the same time.

what are some of the model numbers of machines, If the LCD module are independent, the answer is yes.

Paper loops! I had to do that at work after a malfunction. No way to clear the buffer. It was either watch it waste the whole roll printing a backlog of jobs or loop it and let it do its thing until it was done.
