Mafex has been on point with the 90s comic stuff. I could wish list all day on the other 90s DC stuff I'd like to see like Superman Red/Blue, Doomsday, Hunter/Prey Cyborg Superman, Kyle Raynor, Parallax, Extant from Zero Hour. That'd take 'em years though.
Mafex have the potential to make so many more incredible figures, with the possible licenses at their disposable. They know how to get collectors interest, by making the most popular characters, iconic designs, accurately and from memorable storylines. And they are finally making unique moulds, like the Knightfall Bane. I would love for them to make Marvel villains as well; a classic Romita Sr. Doctor Doom, Juggernaut, and the icing on the cake would be a 90's Jim Lee/Fox Kids/Capcom inspired Apocalypse, with multiple arm attachments included.
I don't know too much about the character, but a Terminator-looking Superman is such an awesome design. He gives me the same vibes as Goku Black lol. You convinced me to pick one up.
A “screaming” headsculpt would’ve completed this figure for me, Hank (after the reveal) is a crazy bastard and that mechanical jaw becomes very expressive, especially towards the finale of Reign. Glad to hear Jurgens approves, I know Hank is one of his favourite creations.
Mafex is all in on this line so 100% we are getting SuperBoy, Eradicator and Doomsday along with the others that were solicited. This company has easily become my go to for comic accurate figures. Dude if they go the lantern route?! Omg Larfreeze, Atrocitus would be interesting for them to do.
I mostly bought this to support the Reign of Superman line because I REALLY want MAFEX to get to Superboy (even though Steel is my favorite of the Supermen). If they ever get to GLs and do Kyle in his OG outfit, though--that would be my grail figure from them.
Awesome review I would love to see Mafex do a Tom Grummet or Dan Jurgens version of Superman. I think it's would be a definitive version of Superman. He has to come with all the bells and whistles both serious and smiling hands. Galore and some heat vision and cold breath effects.

I want Mafex DOOMSDAY. Storm Collectibles Doomsday is too big. The old Doomsday from some brand I forogt is a little too small for Mafex Hush Superman. A properly scaled Mafex Doomsday would be awesome! I also want a Mafex Death and Return of Superman version. Might as well make a Mafex Lois Lane!
In all honesty this figure looks EPIC. Much like your Mafex Magneto review, I'll probably get this figure. I really wish Mafex would give us a Cassandra Cain Batgirl. I know she was never in Hush (where Mafex has been serving Bat figures), but just call it Batgirl: No Man's Land and just give us a definitive figure of a character who richly deserves it.
The S symbol is inaccurate to the comics that's the only thing that bothers me, they used the hush Superman S for no apparent reason but aside from that the figure looks great 👍

This is one of my 2022 top 10's. Just opening the box I was amazed how it looked still under plastic.

Mattel did the Sinestro Corps Cyborg Superman. The red suit with the fear symbol and the rings. I own it. Look it up, it’s actually a good figure.
