- Mending A Kitchen Extractor Fan
🛠️ Welcome to my DIY adventure! In this video, I'm taking a unique approach to home ventilation by replacing my kitchen extractor fan with a powerful inline bathroom fan. 🌬️ Let's think outside the box .
🔧 In this step-by-step tutorial, I'll guide you through the process of dismantling the existing kitchen extractor fan and installing a high-performance inline bathroom fan in its place. This creative switch not only enhances bathroom ventilation but also brings a refreshing change to the entire kitchen atmosphere.Thank you for your support in watching the exeter-rider channel Please "like" any video you watch because it helps a lot!

Job well done! I didn't realise at first how cold it was in your workshop until I saw your frozen breath. I hope you enjoyed your well earned beer after that. Next job a heater in the workshop🙂
Ummm, now there's an idea, radiater.... I wonder what she will say about that 💡🤣👍
@@exeterrider Don't tell her just keep complaining about the cold so mrs won't go out there!
Things are just not made to last now day ha! Good hot- Rod number there man I enjoyed seeing this it was cool.
That's so true. That's why I kept my 2001 vw t4... Not sure if you have them there but they are solid 👌. Hope your doing well and the projects are going well 👍
Great idea ER it looked a fairly simple fix as well, and I was glad to hear you had a beer inside ready for you after the spouse pleasing exercise 😉🍺👌🏻

Loved that mate
Just watch your fingers with that cutting blade get your bloody gloves on 😂😂
Stop chucking your bits on the floor 😂 bloody builders
Just caught this on my break 😊😊
Phil Green
Break, what's that! Yes I normally have a bin there but for the sake of filming flow I wanted to keep it going for your entertainment.
Glad you enjoyed it. It certainly solved my problem..... More coming 👍👍

I meant a tea break at work 🙌🙌
Good stuff like it 😊😊
@@-old-school-motorcyclesltd yes I know what you meant mate 👍🤣

Well done mate a bit of thinking out of the box saved you a few quid, looks as good as it needs to be
Thanks, it could have been expensive if I didn't think of this... She's happy, so it's all good 👍
Steve, I’ve got a vintage Rolex watch that needs a new spring fitting… you seem to have a very steady hand and eye for intricate detail… I’ll send it over for you to take a look. That angle grinder ought to do the job. Chris 😊
Yes I can mend Rolex watches no problem...it can't be that hard . I have a hammer too.
@@exeterrider🤭
useful video .... I have the exact same model over my cooker 😎😎
The switch gear are prone to going on those fans....send it to me if it dies and I'll get it going again for you : )
was thinking of making you an offer on the lights seeing as you don't use them 😁@@exeterrider
@@Howie702 50p at the local supermarket mate
send it to Roland Keith, he can fix everything!
Too late, its done, plus postage may be a issue!
I prefer combine harvesters now. I’m an ex tractor fan.🤣🤣🤣
🤦🏻♂️🤣
You could have made millions from this stuff but still you decided to take the other career.
Forget 4 candles, this is great! 😂👍
Fair play, clever little dodge! 😊
Keeps her from buying a new kitchen!
ER's DIY channel. Are you going to do a review of the new fan?
It is available behind a pay wall sadly Jim. £50 ,You will find it thrilling though!
@@exeterrider Shucks! Will a coffee do?
@@jimsadler8704 how can I say no now🤣very kind of you Jim, thanks🙏🙏
Watch it don't melt the plastic fan, cooker fans tend to be metal for a reason.
Nope the previous fan was fully plastic before aswell as shown in the video.
The UK minimum for 95% of UK sold fans between the hob and the underside of the cooker hood is 650mm, I have a standard 750mm here so it's all fine 👍
