Doctors and nurses should have basic working hours only in India. They should fight for it. No one should over work. It is a basic labour rule.

36-48 hr dutys are very normal among residents, everywhere in India including Kerala.
Working hours of 36 hrs is quite common. If you ask Kerala doctors, they also will tell same

Everyone is assigned each day. and its common for a resident getting 36 working hours on straight.
