Je vous présente la troisième vidéo de la série en studio. Le choix de cette pièce est de circonstance avec la triste nouvelle qu'on a appris hier... Le compositeur de cette pièce, Chick Corea, est décédé il y a quelques jours d'un cancer rare. Ça m'a pris de court. Ce grand pianiste de jazz est très certainement celui qui m'a le plus influencé depuis le début de mon parcours en jazz. J'ai énormément appris de lui, sa musique et son jeu m'a beaucoup influencé. J'ai eu la chance de le voir avec Christian McBride et Brian Blade à la maison symphonique, un spectacle qui m'a rempli de bonheur et m'a nourrit l'âme. Spain est une pièce que tous les musiciens de jazz jouent, et qui est toujours excitant à interpréter. Voici donc une longue version de Spain avec mon super trio! J'espère que vous apprécierez!

This is the third video of the serie in studio. The choice of this piece is due to the sad news that we learned yesterday ... The composer of this piece, Chick Corea, died a few days ago from rare cancer. That was kind of a surprise... This great jazz pianist is certainly the one who influenced me the most since the beginning of my jazz career. I learned a lot from him, his music and his playing influenced me a lot. I had the chance to see him with Christian McBride and Brian Blade at the Symphonic House, a show that filled me with happiness and nourished my soul. Spain is a piece that all jazz musicians play, and which is always exciting to perform. So here is a long version of Spain with my great trio! Hope you'll enjoy! - Hudba
